Capitals Forward to join Mustangs in the Fall of 2026

NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI – Dakoda Langevain, a forward for the Providence Capitals, has committed to SUNY Morrisville for the 2026-2027 season.

A forward out of Nahant, MA, Langevain is a product of the league’s ladder of development, climbing from EHLP to EHL, and now, to NCAA hockey. He played in 101 junior games under the EHL umbrella. He tallied sixteen points in 48 games this past year.

“I’m excited for Dakoda to get the opportunity to play college hockey at Morrisville,” said Capitals Head Coach Jeff Perreault. “He developed from our Premier level and I look forward to seeing him at the next level. Congrats kid!”

Langevain will join Capitals teammate Paulis Leonards Paegle when he joins the Mustangs. Morrisville is led by Head Coach Sebastian Ragno.

“I’m very excited and proud to announce my commitment to Suny Morrisville,” Langevain said. “I would like to thank Coach Jeff Perreault, Coach Stephon Perreault, Coach Clougherty, and Coach Ketts. I’m very excited and proud to become a mustang, and I couldn’t have done it without Providence shaping me into the player I am, and to everyone that’s helped me along the way.”
