Bandits Forward to join Raiders in the Fall of 2026
BRIDGEWATER, MA – Sam Neville, a forward for the Bridgewater Bandits, has committed to Rivier University for the 2026-2027 season.
An ‘05 out of Hooksett, NH, Neville has been a pillar for the Bandits for the past two seasons. After joining them midseason in his first year, Neville collected 30 points in 62 games with them. He added a goal in their first round postseason series.
“I am excited for Sam as he has worked hard to get to this point,” Bandits Head Coach Scott Drevitch said. “Rivier is getting a good teammate and a player who can make a difference. I’m looking forward to watching Sam play NCAA hockey.”
Neville will join former Bandits teammate Brogan Andrus on the Raiders this upcoming season.
“I want to thank my family for always supporting me throughout my hockey journey,” said Neville. “From the rides, sacrifices, and constant encouragement, they’ve been through it all, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. I also want to thank all of my coaches who helped me grow as a player over the years, especially Coach Drevitch. Thank you for always pushing me to be better, believing in me, and helping me reach this point. I’m truly grateful for everything you’ve all done for me.”
