Seahawks Defenseman to join Ravens in the Fall of 2026
SOUTH DENNIS, MA – Garrett Bouschor, a defenseman from the Seahawks Hockey Club, has committed to Franklin Pierce University for the 2026-2027 season.
An ‘05 out of Petoskey, MI, Bouschor spent a pair of seasons in the EHL, cementing himself as a top defenseman in the league. After tallying 20 points in his rookie season, Bouschor added another 23 in just 30 games in 2025-26. He scored three goals en route to the Seahawks EHL Championship this postseason.
“We are very happy for Garrett and his family to finalize his choice for his academic and athletic future,” Bill Zaniboni, Head Coach of the Seahawks Hockey Club, said. “Garrett has grown as a player and person in his two seasons playing here. He was a big part of the group that has put our organization’s name on the championship. He’s a fun player to watch and a kid that can make big plays at big times.”
Bouschor, an All-Star himself, will join fellow All-Star and Seahawks teammate Adam Quinn at FPU this upcoming season.
“I would like to thank my family for all the sacrifices they have made to help me pursue my dream of playing NCAA hockey,” said Bouschor. “Their dedication and belief in me, both on and off the ice, led me to where I am now. I’m incredibly thankful for Coach Zaniboni whose support helped me become the player and person I am today. His mentorship has taught me a lot over the past two years. I am truly honored and thankful for this opportunity to continue my academic and athletic career at Franklin Pierce University. I want to thank Coach Foley for giving me the opportunity to play for this team and I can’t wait to see what the future brings.”
