Wizards Forward to join Ravens in the Fall of 2026
BEDFOD, MA – Evan Roy, a forward for the East Coast Wizards, has committed to Franklin Pierce University for the 2026-2027 season.
Roy, a two year player for East Coast, is a native of Merrimack, NH. The ‘05 earned Northeast All Star honors, competing and impressing against NCAA programs in his age-out season. He played a total of 103 games for the Wizards and recorded 71 points.
“We are really excited for Evan and his commitment to Franklin Pierce,” Wizards Head Coach Kory Falite said. “He has been such a big Pierce for us the past two seasons up front in all situations. He plays with a high hockey IQ, and we can’t wait to see his success continue at the NCAA level.”
Roy is amongst nine EHL commitments to Franklin Pierce this season. He joins Wizards teammate Cooper Joscelyn.
“I am very excited to announce that I will be furthering my education and hockey career at Franklin Pierce University,” Roy said. “I would like to thank my parents for guiding me through this, every step of the way. I also give a huge thank you to all of my coaches, family, and friends who have also supported me through my hockey career. I am very excited for the opportunity that Coach Foley and Franklin Pierce hockey has given me and I can’t wait to get going in the Fall.”
