EHL and EHLP All-Star Events, Dates, and Locations Announced for the 2026-27 Season

HAVERHILL, MA – The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) are pleased to announce its All-Star events for the 2026-27 season – the EHL All-Star College Series and the EHLP All-Star Game.

In its ninth year since its inception, the EHL All-Star College Series has made its case as the EHL’s flagship event, where the league’s top players take on NCAA Division III programs after enjoying campus and rink tours and witnessing the college experience first-hand. Since the 2024-25 season, the event has featured a trio of teams: the Mid-Atlantic All-Stars, the Northeast All-Stars, and the Main All-Stars.

Each team takes on a pair of NCAA opponents. Evolving from once a single-team event, it now features upwards of 60+ players. An experiment proved successful, all teams have secured a win over a college team.

“When we hit the ice for games during the College Series, the top priority is to compete and give a high-level effort for the schools who’ve chosen us for 1 of the 2 exhibition games that they are allowed to schedule,” said Neil Ravin, the Commissioner of the EHL and EHLP. “Skating away victorious in the games that we have is simply a bonus, as it further proves that we belong. Year in and year out, we produce players that are ready for college hockey, and they get the chance to prove it quickly, just one month into our season.”

This year, the event takes place from October 15th to 24th. The Northeast All-Stars kick things off with matchups against Keene State College and Rivier University, two teams who have played EHL All-Star squads before. The Mid-Atlantic team then takes over, squaring off against a duo of NCAA expansion teams in the University of St. Joseph and Albright College, which will combine to feature over two dozen EHL alumni.

The Main All-Stars, composed of the best-of-the-best from both conferences, will travel west to take on Hiram College and Chatham University. Both college programs will be participating in the event for their first time.

“There’s nothing more reassuring than when an NCAA program signs up to be a part of the College Series for a second time,” added Ravin. “It’s also special when coaches text me to add their name to my notes for future years. This is a marquee event for the league because it has garnered unprecedented attention from the coaches at the next level.”

All eyes will be on the EHL All-Stars in mid-October, as they fly the EHL flag and gain valuable exposure and experience throughout the process. An All-Star nod has proven dividends for its recipients, with over 75% of last year’s 2005-born (age-out) All-Stars, having announced their commitment to an NCAA program, with more on the way.

After making its return from a two-year hiatus, the EHLP-All Star Game will take center stage yet again during the EHL Showcase Series. The 2025-26 season featured a pair of All-Star teams compiled from coaching staff nominations. The teams blended both Mid-Atlantic and Northeast players for a marquee matchup at the Broad Street Battle Showcase in Aston, PA.

This season, it takes place at the Mid-Season Snowdown in Simsbury, CT. On opening night, December 15th, the EHLP’s best will showcase themselves in front of a full house of EHL coaches in a prime-time slot with All-Star level media coverage.

“We moved this game to the Mid-Season Snowdown because it was a lot to ask of the players at the end of the season last year, right before the playoffs began,” added Ravin. “By placing this on the opening night of an EHL-only event, it will surely draw a big crowd in Simsbury. What I love about the EHLP is that it produces players quickly, and while we can sit here today and say we have no idea who will be playing in this game in December, by the time the season gets rolling, there will be players making a quick case and establishing a name for themselves in a division that fills up annually with prospects that are focused on developing and moving up to the EHL.”

As the off-season continues, EHL and EHLP coaching staffs have begun the scheduling process, building their games around Showcases and All-Star events. Keep an eye out for our full-season schedule release, featuring the Road to Providence, and more.
