Wizards Forward to join Hawks in the Fall of 2026
BEDFOD, MA – Adam Ellegood, a forward for the East Coast Wizards, has committed to Roger Williams University for the 2026-2027 season.
An ‘05 out of Tewksbury, MA, Ellegood is a product of the league’s ladder of development, climbing from EHLP to EHL to NCAA hockey. Ellegood served as a captain in his age-out campaign, where his All Star showing against Nichols College and Roger Williams earned him a reputation as one of the best in the EHL. He played over 150 games during his tenure in juniors.
“We’re excited for Adam and his commitment to Roger Williams,” Kory Falite, Wizards Head Coach said. “He had a ton of interest from elsewhere and they were always his number one. I’m glad that things worked out for him. He was such a big piece for our team both on and off the ice this year. I’m so happy to see his hard work and leadership pay off. Roger Williams is gaining a terrific hockey player, but more importantly, a tremendous human being. We can’t wait to see his success continue at the next level.”
Ellegood squared off against Coach Chris Hall’s Hawks squad during the EHL All-Star College Series. They have no shortage of EHL, adding another to their double digit total from last season.
“I am incredibly grateful to be continuing my education and hockey career at Roger Williams University,” Ellegood said. “I’d like to thank my friends, family, and every one of my coaches and teammates I’ve had along the way. I want to especially thank my Mom and Dad for their unconditional love and support throughout this journey. I am beyond excited for the opportunity that Coach Hall has given me to play at RWU, and I look forward to growing there as a person and player. Go Hawks!”
