Wizards Forward to join Eagles in the Fall of 2026
BEDFORD, MA – Connor Hetherington, a forward for the East Coast Wizards, has committed to Post University for the 2026-2027 season.
An ‘05 out of Cold Spring Harbor, NY, Hetherington spent three seasons in the EHL. He capped off his career with the Wizards, where he registered six points in five postseason games after joining them midseason. Hetherington played in over 130 games and recorded 74 points.
“We are so happy for Connor and his commitment to Post,” Kory Falite, Head Coach of the East Coast Wizards, said. “Connor came in mid-season and has been a big presence for our lineup upon arrival. He’s been a top forward in this league for multiple years, and we’re excited to see his success continue at the next level.”
The Eagles are loaded with EHL alumni, and will have six more players from this year’s class. Hetherington will be joined by fellow Wizard Marshall Braunscheidel.
“I am very excited to continue my academic and athletic career at Post University,” Hetherington said. “I am very grateful for all the help my family, billets, and coaches provided me along the way. I want to thank Coach Ritchter for the opportunity. I also want to thank Coach Kory and the Wizards for welcoming me mid-season. I can’t wait to get on campus this Fall!”
