Jr. Warriors Forward to join Greyhounds in the Fall of 2026
HAVERHILL, MA – Andrew Duval, a forward for the Valley Jr. Warriors, has committed to Assumption University for the 2026-2026 season.
Duval, a two-time All Star out of Tewksbury, MA, began his juniors career in the EHLP. After a mid-season call up in 2023-2024, he became a full time EHL player, where he’d remain until the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season. He played in a total of 156 games and registered 98 points.
“Andrew exemplifies all that we hope for in our student-athletes,” Warriors Head Coach Ryan McGrath said. “He started off on our EHLP team during the 23-24 season and put up huge offensive numbers. He was promoted to our EHL squad and immediately made an impact. He would go on to lead our EHL team for two and a half seasons, ultimately being voted captain this past season. We couldn’t be more proud of Andrew committing to Assumption as academics were equally as important to him as the opportunity to play for Coach Looney and help the Greyhounds win a championship.”
Duval will join North Division rival Cayden Miceli (ECW) as a Greyhound for the upcoming season. In addition, former Valley teammate Caden Connors has suited up for the Greyhounds for the past two seasons.
“I can’t thank my family, my coaches, and teammates for all their support,” said Duval. “Being a Valley Jr. Warrior has been a huge honor. I’m extremely excited to join the Greyhounds next season.”
