Bears’ Forward to join Cougars in the Fall of 2026
FLEMINGTON, NJ – Xander St. Pierre, a forward for the New Jersey Bears, has committed to Misericordia University for the 2026-2027 season.
An ‘05 out of Auburn, ME, St. Pierre chose the EHL for his age-out season of junior hockey. He tallied eight goals and seven assists this season. Known for his high-compete, St. Pierre has also been a main-stay on the Bears penalty kill.
“I am extremely happy for Xander,” Jason Kilcoyne, Head Coach of the New Jersey Bears, said. “He came to us for his last season looking to play NCAA hockey and it worked out for him. He is a very hard worker that is going to fit right in to his college team. He has been a great leader and a key contributor all season.”
St. Pierre is the fifth commitment to the Cougars for the EHL this season. The team already boasts thirteen EHL alumni.
“I’m beyond excited to share my commitment to Misericordia University in order to pursue both my academic and athletic journeys,” said St. Pierre. “I’d like to thank my mother and father for the continued support as well as the rest of my family, friends, and coaches that got me to this point in my career. Can’t wait to take this next step!”
