Capitals Forward to join Yellow Jackets in the Fall of 2026
NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI – Kurt Mauser, a forward for the Providence Capitals, has committed to American International College for the 2026-2027 season.
Mauser, an ‘05 out of Williamsville, NY, spent two seasons in the EHL. Mauser split time between the EHL and EHLP in his rookie season before jumping into a full time EHL role for his age-out campaign. Mauser had eight goals and nine assists in 30 games before adding four goals in three postseason games.
“AIC is getting a strong, reliable power forward who has an equally dangerous big boy shot,” said Capitals Head Coach Jeff Perreault. “Kurt was a great addition for us down the stretch and scored some big goals. Good luck kid.”
Mauser is the tenth EHL player to commit to AIC, joining teammates Mike Bevilacqua and Luke Haynes.
“I’m extremely proud and honored to announce my commitment to AIC,” said Mauser. “I want to thank my parents, coaches, and anyone who has supported me along the way.”
