HAVERHILL, MA — The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Announce Week 21 Stars of the Week, running February 24th through March 2nd.

Northeast Conference
Kye Smyrnios (F) East Coast Wizards
The East Coast Wizards found their way back to the win column with a 4-2 victory over the Connecticut Nor’Easter. ‘06 forward Kye Smyrnios had a monster game, tallying an assist on each goal in the win. Despite a tough loss to the New Hampshire Avalanche to follow, Smynios scored one of the three Wizards goals. He and his squad now turn their attention to the New Jersey 87’s, whom they will face this Friday.
Danny Storella (F) New Hampshire Avalanche
For the second straight week, Danny “Scorella” makes an appearance on Stars of the Week. The New Hampshire Avalanche won all three of their games this past week with Storella collecting another six points. He combined for a goal and two assists in their two games against the Valley Jr. Warriors, assisting both regulation goals in the second. He had a three point outing against the East Coast Wizards as well. The Albertus Magnus commit and the Avs kick off their Showcase slate against the Connecticut Nor’Easter.
Jordan Dumont (G) Bridgewater Bandits
Jordan Dumont has been phenomenal since joining the Bridgewater Bandits in 2026. With his most recent win, he is now responsible for nearly half of the Bandits’ win this season. In their 1-0 overtime win over the Providence Capitals, Dumont stopped a whopping 54 of 54 to take down the Caps for the second time in the new year. He and the Bandits will take on Philadelphia Hockey Club on Friday.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Aiden Forcier (F) HC Rhode Island
H.C Rhode Island have continued to silence the doubters, this time after a 3-0 week. Led by ‘07 forward Aiden Forcier, they took down the New York Apple Core in a pair of games before closing out their week with a win over the Connecticut Nor’Easter. He scored in their first matchup against New York, a one goal win, before assisting the power play game winner in the second. However, he took over in the Nor’Easter game as the Warwick native potted two goals and two assists in the 5-1 win. They return to action at the Broad Street Battle Showcase against the Express Hockey Club.
Luc Beauparlant (G) Philadelphia Hockey Club
February Star of the Month Luc Beauparlant isn’t done winning awards, now taking a spot in the Mid-Atlantic Stars of the Week. The ‘06 all star was handed the reins in a pair of games against division rival New Jersey 87’s, where he was the difference in both. In the 1-0 win to kick off the weekend, Beauparlant turned aside all 20 shots. He faced 36 shots and shut down all but one to close out the weekend and complete the sweep. With thirteen wins, a .950 save percentage, and three shutouts, Beauparlant has established himself as one of the most dominant goaltenders in the league.
Liam Kansler (F) Philadelphia Hockey Club
It’s back to back PHC nods as veteran forward Liam Kansler rounds out the EHL side. The Arcadia commit set up the lone goal in their shutout win to kick off their weekend slate against the New Jersey 87’s. The next day, he followed that up with a power play game-tying goal before assisting another game winner. He and PHC will host the Philadelphia Little Flyers before beginning their showcase schedule.

Northeast Conference
Andrew Burnside (F) Connecticut Nor’Easter
The Connecticut Nor’Easter split a doubleheader against the Express Hockey Club and ‘07 forward Andrew Burnside had himself a day. He scored their lone goal in their opener, but potted a goal and an assist in their shootout win. It was his first multipoint performance as the Nor’Easter have now won five of their last eleven. They’ll take on the Pennsylvania Huntsmen this Friday.
Jackson Guimond (D) Express Hockey Club
Express Hockey Club Captain, All Star, and King in the North Jackson Guimond was a play driver in this past weekend’s set against the Connecticut Nor’Easter. He first tallied a goal and an assist in their 5-1 win before scoring their first goal in the 4-3 shootout loss. Guimond enters the Broad Street Battle Showcase with 25 points, where he’ll take on the Pennsylvania Huntsmen before suiting up for Team Jake in the EHLP All Star Game.
Mason Campbell (G) Connecticut Nor’Easter
Mason Campbell suited up in the Connecticut Nor’Easter’s second matchup of the day on Sunday and came up huge. He stopped 44 of 47 in regulation before turning aside another five in the shootout. He leads the league in save percentage with .930 and has won three of his last five games.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Eddie Kienzle (F) New Jersey 87’s
No, you didn’t read that wrong. New Jersey 87’s forward Eddie Kienzle collected a whopping nineteen points across two games this past week. It started off with a quiet five-point game against the New Jersey Bears where he scored the game winner in an 8-3 win. Kienzle then tallied a whopping twelve points in a wild win over the Philadelphia Little Flyers. He scored six goals, including two shorthanded, and six assists in a game filled with highlight reel plays. The Express Hockey Club await them on Saturday.
Tai Jausovec (D) Union Jr. Thunder
The Union Jr. Thunder went 1-2 in their weekend three-in-three. ‘08 Defenseman Tai Jausovec was a prominent figure in each, extending his point streak to four games. He scored a power play to open the weekend in their win over the Pennsylvania Huntsmen. In the following two games, he combined for a goal and two assists to bring his total to eighteen points on the year. They begin their Showcase schedule against the Philadelphia Little Flyers.
Tyler Bertelsen (F) Pennsylvania Huntsmen
It was a successful weekend for the Pennsylvania Huntsmen who went 2-1and scored seventeen goals. Newcomer Tyler Bertelsen began the weekend with an assist on their lone goal in their loss to the Union Jr. Thunder. He then registered a pair of goals and an assist against the Philadelphia Little Flyers before closing out the weekend with another assist against the Thunder. Their Showcase slate begins with the Express Hockey Club on Friday.
