Avalanche Forward to join Falcons in the Fall of 2026
HOOKSETT, NH – Danny Storella, a forward for the New Hampshire Avalanche, has committed to Albertus Magnus College for the 2026-2027 season.
An ‘05 out of Stoneham, MA, Storella has cemented himself as an EHL all-time great. With 57 goals, he is the leading goal-scorer in Avalanche history. In 89 total games across two seasons, he has a total of 108 points.
“Danny is another prep school player that came to us and found success,” Avalanche Head Coach Chris Cerrella said. “Storsy has had two big seasons with us including breaking the Avalanche goals record. He’s a big, strong kid with a good hockey IQ and good skill. He is going to a great place and somewhere that fits him both athletically and academically. I couldn’t be more proud of Danny. We will miss him here for sure. The Avs have a good connection with Albertus and they believe in our players. He is going to be a great addition to the Albertus culture on and off the ice.’
Storella squared off against Albertus Magnus during the EHL All-Star College Series, where he scored a goal. The Falcons are led by Head Coach Kyle Wallack.

I came to the Avs hoping to play NCAA hockey and I couldn’t have asked for a better situation. I’m super excited and I am looking forward to playing at the next level and continuing my academics at Albertus.”
