Avalanche Forward to join Ravens in the Fall of 2026
HOOKSETT, NH – Colden Lawrence, a forward for the New Hampshire Avalanche, has committed to Franklin Pierce University for the 2026-2027 season.
Lawrence, an ‘05 out of Chepachet, RI, is a two year player with the EHL. He played for the Vermont Lumberjacks for his first season, where he registered sixteen goals and fifteen assists. He has already eclipsed that total through 40 games this season, and has been on fire lately with ten goals in his last sixteen games.
“Law is not only a good athlete, but an exceptional young man,” said Chris Cerrella, Head Coach of the Avalanche. “He plays the game the right way, never cheats it, and has become a three zone player throughout the course of this season. I am very excited that he found a school for him both on the ice and in the classroom. FPU has added a tremendous young man to their athletic and academic community.”
Lawrence is now the fifth commitment to Franklin Pierce this season, joining Avalanche teammate Cooke Evans. They are led by Head Coach Conor Foley.
“I would like to thank my parents and family for the countless sacrifices they made throughout this process,” Lawrence said. “UIt wouldn’t be possible without them. I would also like to thank Coach Cerrella and Coach Bourdon for bringing me along for my age-out season. With how competitive college hockey has become, Coach Cerrella found a program for me that I can’t wait to play for.”
