Connecticut Nor’Easter @ New York Apple Core
The New York Apple Core took a 5-1 win over the Connecticut Nor’Easter.
At 8:08 of the first period, Matthew Kymer opened the scoring for the Apple Core before Noah Parrelli responded for Connecticut at 9:30. New York regained control with goals from Junsang Park at 13:42 followed by Evan Vasiljevs at 16:34. In the second period, Kymer added his second of the game at 12:06, and Lukas Samoila scored at 17:10 to extend the Apple Core lead 5-1. The third period was scoreless.Andrew Libby had 32 saves on 37 shots for CTN and AJ Frankaitis had 28 saves on 29 shots for NYA. – AL
Philadelphia Little Flyers @ Philadelphia Hockey Club
Philadelphia Hockey Club skated away with a 4-2 win over the Philadelphia Little Flyers.
Ryan Suchy got Philadelphia Hockey Club on the board first at 11:52 of the first period. Just a minute later, Treavor Stanley responded for the Little Flyers and tied it up 1-1. Sheldon Wilson put PHC in the lead at 19:14, and then David Cook extended the lead 3-1 at 17:54 of the second period. In the third period, Ross Temple cut the deficit to one for the Little Flyers, but Justin Zapata scored at 11:13 of the third period to secure the win for PHC. Lewis Brocklehurst made 23 saves on 27 shots for the Little Flyers, while Lorenzo Rossi made 14 saves on 16 shots for Philadelphia Hockey Club. – AL

HC Rhode Island @ Seahawks Hockey Club
In the second meeting of the season between two of the best teams in the league, the Seahawks rallied in the third to earn a 3–1 win over H.C. Rhode Island.
The visitors took the lead first in the second period when Jarret Rainey-Gibson scored at 3:41, finishing a setup from Austin Haldane and Drew Dearborn to give Rhode Island a 1–0 advantage. That lead held into the final frame thanks to steady goaltending from Angelo Evangelista. However, the Seahawks flipped the momentum midway through the third. Aidan Neville evened the score at 12:06 off a feed from Alex Friedman, and just 50 seconds later Connor Evans capitalized on the power play, finishing a crisp passing sequence from Nicky Degeorge and Will Auger to give the Seahawks their first lead of the night. Danny Kehoe added insurance at 18:18, converting an amazing effort from Degeorge to seal it.
Braden Clifford was strong in net for the Seahawks, stopping 28 of 29 shots, while Evangelista turned aside 35 of 38 in a solid effort for Rhode Island. Nicky Degeorge led the offense with two helpers in the victory. – MF
New Hampshire Avalanche @ Bridgewater Bandits
In the fourth matchup between the two teams this season, the New Hampshire Avalanche delivered an offensive push and skated away with a 6–2 road win over the Bridgewater Bandits.
Danny Storella opened the scoring early in the first period with his 20th of the season, finishing a setup from Alex Valentini and Patrick Cooley. Bridgewater answered midway through the frame with a goal from Cody Tatar, but the Avalanche regained the lead at 9:24 when Ben Carfora buried a feed from Alex Ravikovich and Cooke Evans to make it 2–1 after one.
New Hampshire took full control in the second period. Storella struck again at 7:41 for his second of the day, followed by Petey Silverman extending the lead at 10:56 on a tip from Valentini’s point shot. Luke Tropeano added another at 15:44, finishing a play set up by Storella and Valentini as the Avalanche were heading into the third with a commanding four-goal advantage. The special teams stayed sharp early in the final frame, with Colden Lawrence finding the back of the net on the power play just 49 seconds in to extend the lead to 6–1. Christian Bauer added a late goal for Bridgewater, but the outcome was well in hand. Nick Hussar earned the win with 11 saves on 13 shots. Valentini led the charge with three helpers, and Storella’s two-goal performance did not go unnoticed in the victory. – MF
Express Hockey Club @ East Coast Wizards
In a tight fourth meeting between the two teams this season, the Express Hockey Club used a strong defensive effort to earn a 3–1 road victory over the East Coast Wizards.
The Wizards struck first on the power play at 4:42 of the opening period, as Kyle Hart netted his ninth of the season off assists from Jack Copponi and Collin Rowe. That goal would stand as the only difference of the first, with both goaltenders settling in from there. Express evened things up midway through the second period when Sean Anderson found the back of the net, finishing a setup from Warren Nguenti-Abssono and Brody Hernandez.
The game remained tight heading into the third with chances at both ends. The deadlock was finally broken at 11:44 of the final frame when Will Bowden-Stevens gave the Express its first lead with a tip in front of the net, converting the initial shot from Nick Needham. As the Wizards pushed late, Nate Brissette sealed the win with an empty- net goal in the last two minutes of the game.
Lukas Toth was outstanding in net for Express, stopping 41 of 42 shots in a remarkable performance, while Pierson Haislet turned aside 40 of 42 in a strong effort of his own. Goaltending headlined the night, but Express’s late push proved to be the difference. – MF

Philadelphia Hockey Club @ Philadelphia Little Flyers
To kick off the EHL’s Friday schedule, PHC and the Little Flyers faced off in what turned out to be an epic matchup. Both teams came out ready to compete, showcasing strong systems and standout performances right from puck drop. The intensity was evident early, and the first period reflected just how evenly matched they were, ending in a hard-fought 0-0 tie.
The Little Flyers struck first in the second period when Ross Temple found the back of the net, setting the tone early in the frame. PHC didn’t panic, though. They continued to apply pressure, and midway through the period, Marc Nicastro answered with a goal of his own to even the score at 1-1 heading into the third.
Less than five minutes into the final period, David Cook gave PHC the momentum shift they needed, burying what would stand as the game-winning goal. From there, PHC locked things down defensively and carried the 2-1 lead all the way to the final buzzer, securing a hard-earned victory to open Friday’s action. – AM
New Jersey 87’s @ New Jersey Bears
With redemption on their minds, the New Jersey Bears faced off against their in-state rivals, the New Jersey 87s, in an intense and hard-fought matchup. After coming off a tough loss, the Bears had one goal — bounce back — and they did just that.
It didn’t take long for the Bears to set the tone, as Jayden Juan found the back of the net early to give his squad the spark they were looking for. The 87s answered quickly, with Colin Versace responding to even the score at 1-1. That tie game heading into the second period only built more anticipation for what was shaping up to be a battle.
The middle frame was gritty and physical, with both teams laying it all on the line. The Bears found themselves in penalty trouble, giving the 87s multiple power-play opportunities, but strong defensive play and steady goaltending kept New Jersey off the board. Capitalizing on their momentum, Francesco Donohue buried two goals in the period to give the Bears a 3-1 lead heading into the third.
With Oliver Bunjer adding his name to teh board with a goal, it was also clear Donohue wasn’t done yet. Completing the hat trick in the final frame, he sealed the statement win as the Bears skated away with a 5-1 victory over the 87s. A redemption game delivered. – AM

Bridgewater Bandits @ Valley Jr. Warriors
The Valley Jr. Warriors and Bridgewater Bandits did battle for the fourth and final time this season, and true to the tone of the season series, it ended in close fashion. Bridgewater opened the scoring courtesy of a Ryan Hammer goal. A pair of power play goals followed, one aside, as the two teams carried the 2-1 score from the end of the first to the beginning of the third.
Less than a minute into the final frame, Jacob Macmillian-Dallaire struck on the power play to tie things up for the Warriors. Over ten minutes later, Valley secured their first lead of the day when their captain Andrew Duval deposited a game winning give-and-goal play with Sonny Christian. Both goaltenders, Jordan Dumont (BWB) and Chris Hanifan (VJW), impressed with Hanifan stopping 24 for the win. Valley won the season series 3-1.
Philadelphia Little Flyers @ Philadelphia Hockey Club
Saturday night featured a Philadelphia matchup between the Philadelphia Little Flyers and the Philadelphia Hockey Club.
The opening period was tightly played, with both teams trading chances. Liam Kansler got PHC on the board midway through the first, but Colton Miller answered four minutes later for the Little Flyers. After 20 minutes of disciplined hockey, the score remained even at 1–1.
The game turned late in the second period. With just over five minutes remaining, Pat Devaney broke the tie to give PHC a 2–1 lead. From there, the momentum snowballed. Ryan Jaffe added a power-play goal, and just 30 seconds later Ryan Fleischauer extended the advantage. Denis Maliew followed 53 seconds after that, capping off a four-goal stretch in just over two minutes. The burst sent PHC into the intermission with a commanding 5–1 lead.
Philadelphia Hockey Club carried that momentum into the third. Less than two minutes into the final frame, Sheldon Wilson scored shorthanded to widen the gap. Maliew recorded his second of the night, also shorthanded, and Anthony Yeager added the final tally as PHC secured an 8–1 win over the Little Flyers. – MP
HC Rhode Island @ Providence Capitals
The top two teams in the EHL Central Division, the Providence Capitals and HC Rhode Island, faced off Saturday night in a highly anticipated matchup.
The opening period was evenly played, with both teams generating quality looks. HC Rhode Island put six shots on net while Providence recorded four, but neither side was able to break through. After 20 minutes, the game remained scoreless at 0–0.
The second period brought more offensive pressure, as each team registered 12 shots. This time, both found the back of the net. Austin Haldane opened the scoring for HC Rhode Island, while Mason Czaban responded for the Capitals to even the game at 1–1 heading into the final frame.
The third period belonged to HC Rhode Island. Just 1:09 into the period, Aiden Forcier gave his team the lead, then completed a natural hat trick within a 6:33 span, netting his third goal at the 7:42 mark. The outburst marked Forcier’s second hat trick of the season, bringing his totals to 30 goals and 33 assists for 63 points. Vladimir Zakharov pulled one back for Providence in an attempt to slow the momentum, but Jarrett Rainey-Gibson sealed the contest with a late empty-net goal. HC Rhode Island sailed away with a decisive 5–2 victory over the Providence Capitals. – MP

Express Hockey Club @ Providence Capitals
On the Premier’s schedule for the day, the Express and the Capitals faced off in what shaped up to be an impressive matchup. With the Express coming off a previous win against the Capitals, this game carried extra weight for both sides. There was pressure in the air — redemption for one, momentum for the other.
Both teams came out strong, rolling solid lines and keeping things tight defensively. The first period remained scoreless, but it was far from quiet. Each shift added to the anticipation, as chances were created but neither side could break through.
Just three minutes into the second period, Seamus McParland-Daab finally cracked the deadlock, finding the back of the net to give the Capitals a 1-0 lead. With that advantage, the Capitals locked in, knowing the Express carried a dangerous offensive presence. They focused on structured defense and limiting quality chances, successfully holding off the pressure.
After two periods of intense play, the Capitals carried their 1-0 lead into the third, setting the stage for a dramatic finish. And a dramatic finish was given as Aaron Karns was able to put it away with just six minutes left allowing for a score of 1-1. And with a shoot out win by Will Link, the Capitals took their first viotory over the Express this season. – AM
Atlantic City Seals @ Pennsylvania Huntsmen
With the Game of the Week underway, the heat was on as the Seals and Huntsmen faced off in a high-energy showdown.
The Seals wasted no time setting the tone. Just 20 seconds into the first period, Rick Sandman found the back of the net, giving his team an electric start. Strong defensive play continued to fuel their momentum, and before the period wrapped up, Marshall Windsor added another, sending the Seals into the second with a commanding 2-0 lead.
The Huntsmen weren’t going down without a fight. Parker McDonald answered back in the second, cutting into the deficit and giving his squad a spark of hope. But the Seals stayed hungry, and Ben Meyer extended the lead once again to keep the pressure on.
Dylan Mostoller made things interesting with another push for the Huntsmen, but it wouldn’t be enough. With no additional goals in the third period and the Seals locking things down defensively, they skated away with a hard-fought 3-2 victory. – AM

Philadelphia Little Flyers @ New Jersey Bears
With a win over the Philadelphia Little Flyers, the New Jersey Bears have strung together four straight wins. Much different than their last shootout win over PLF, the Bears won this one in convincing, shutout fashion. After a 1-0 first period, the Bears would pile on another six between the second and third.
Liam Stoddard recorded a pair and ‘08 Brendan Crowley registered a goal and assist, his fourth straight multipoint game. The league leader in points Dominic Moushon posted a three point game, tallying the game winner. Dylan McLean posted a 30-save shutout.
New Jersey 87’s @ Pennsylvania Huntsmen
The Pennsylvania Huntsmen hosted the New Jersey 87’s Saturday night in a competitive matchup where shots remained close throughout each period. While the margin on the shot clock never separated by more than five, the 87’s made the most of their opportunities.
New Jersey opened the scoring in the first period as Eddie Kienzle found the back of the net. The Huntsmen answered on the power play, with Stephen Spangler capitalizing to even the game at 1–1 heading into the second.
Luke Glover provided the lone goal of the middle frame, striking on the man advantage to give the 87’s a 2–1 edge. His tally was assisted by Alexander Krish and Eddie Kienzle, as New Jersey regained control.
The third period delivered the most offense of the night. Alex Falkowski extended the 87’s lead to 3–1 midway through the period, but Parker McDonald responded to keep Pennsylvania within one. Kienzle added his second of the game to restore a two-goal cushion, only to see Tyler Bertelsen bring the Huntsmen back within one with just over a minute remaining in regulation. In the closing moments, Kienzle claimed the victory with an empty-net goal to complete the hat trick and secure a 5–3 win for the New Jersey 87’s over the Pennsylvania Huntsmen. – MP
