HAVERHILL, MA — The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Announce Week 19 Stars of the Week, running February 10th through February 16th.

Northeast Conference
Noah Rogers (F) New Hampshire Avalanche
Coming off a strong three-game stretch, Noah Rogers tallied three goals and three assists for the Avalanche. The forward has totaled 35 points so far on the season with 11 goals and 24 assists. Rogers is committed to Wilkes University where he will take his game to the collegiate level. The Avalanche will travel to Bridgewater on Wednesday to face off against the Bandits.
Garrett Bouschor (D) Seahawks Hockey Club
Defenseman Garrett Bouschor has been a difference-maker for the Seahawks Hockey Club. Over his last two games, the Michigan native recorded two goals, including the game-winning goal that broke a 1-1 tie against the Express and secured a 2-1 win. Bouschor now has six goals and 11 assists for 17 points this season, earning recognition as a two-time Star of the Week. The Seahawks will face Hockey Club Rhode Island on Wednesday at home.
Colden Lawrence (F) New Hampshire Avalanche
Colden Lawrence continues his strong season for the New Hampshire Avalanche. The forward has posted 17 goals and 20 assists for 37 points so far on the season. Lawrence scored in the Avalanche’s 5-0 shutout win over the Wizards on Wednesday and again in a 12-2 win over the Warriors on Saturday, while also contributing four assists over that stretch for a total of six points in his last three games. The Avalanche will take on the Bandits on Wednesday.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Jack Fraser (D) HC Rhode Island
Jack Fraser is continuing to make an offensive impact from the blue line for H.C Rhode Island. The defenseman from Montreal, Canada has totaled eight goals and 25 assists for 33 points this season. Over his last two games, Fraser recorded one goal and three assists. Fraser scored the overtime game-winner, securing the 4-3 win for Rhode Island over the Express on Saturday. The team will travel to play the Seahawks on Wednesday.
Angelo Evangelista (G) HC Rhode Island
Angelo Evangelista has been solid in net all season for H.C Rhode Island, earning 2 wins in his last 2 games while posting a .925 save percentage. The ‘07 has been a key to Rhode Island’s success this season, stopping 370 of 401 shots over 15 games and maintaining a 2.19 goals- against average. He’ll look to get another win when the team faces the Seahawks on Wednesday.
AJ Frankaitis (G) New York Apple Core
AJ Frankaitis had a strong performance in net for the Apple Core, recording one win in his last two games with a .946 save percentage. On Friday, Frankaitis stopped 57 of 59 shots that he faced which led to a strong 4-2 win for the Apple Core over Philadelphia Hockey Club. The Farmingdale State commit has been a key contributor this season for the Apple Core, as he holds a 2.76 goals-against average over 8 games.

Northeast Conference
David Wood (F) New Hampshire Avalanche
It’s back to back Stars of the Week appearances for ‘06 David Wood. The New Hampshire Avalanche win streak has extended to five after their sweep of the EHLP Showcase in Haverhill. Wood first tallied a crucial insurance goal against the Express Hockey Club to kick off the day. In their rivalry game against the Seahawks Hockey Club, Wood opened the scoring and added an assist to secure the tight win. The Avalanche sit atop the EHLP with 54 points.
Ethan LaPlante (G) Connecticut Nor’Easter
The Connecticut Nor’Easter have enjoyed their most successful month to date this season due in large part to strong goaltending. Responsible for a pair of wins is goaltender Ethan LaPlante. A Massachusetts native, the ‘07 earned the second of those two wins against the Express Hockey Club. In the first Connecticut victory over the Express, LaPlante shut down 39 shots. They’ll have some time off before a pair of games against the Express.
Brady Penner (F) Express Hockey Club
The Express Hockey Club snapped their six game skid in dramatic fashion against the Providence Capitals. Kicking off the scoring and adding an assist was forward Brady Penner. In their prior two games, Penner recorded an assist in each. He has now eclipsed his total from his previous season. They’ll do battle with the Capitals again this Friday.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Marco Morra (F) Union Jr. Thunder
The South Division race for the number one spot will likely come down to the wire, and two wins in a three game week for the Union Jr. Thunder has kept them in a favorable position. Returning forward Marco Morra kicked off the week with a goal and an assist against the Atlantic City Seals. He then picked up an assist in each of their following two games. UJT will take on the Philadelphia Little Flyers this weekend.
Dominic Moushon (F) New Jersey Bears
It was only a matter of time before Dom Moushon showed back up on Stars of the Week. The ‘08 sensation led his team to a pair of wins this past week, scoring four goals and an assist. He had a three point game against the New Jersey Bears before adding another two goals against the New Jersey 87’s, which included a late game winner. He continues to lead the league, now with 74 points.
Larry Miller (F) Philadelphia Little Flyers
In a pair of tight games, Philadelphia Little Flyers forward Larry Miller showed up big. The ‘08 posted a trio of assists against the Pennsylvania Huntsmen and wrapped up the week with a goal and an assist against the Union Jr. Thunder. Miller leads his squad in points in his first year of juniors with 31 points. They’ll take on the New Jersey Bears on Saturday.
