New Jersey 87’s @ New Jersey Bears
The Garden State showdown between the New Jersey 87’s and the New Jersey Bears opened as a tightly contested battle. Both teams generated equal pressure in the first period, each recording 11 shots on goal, but neither side was able to break through as the game remained scoreless after one.
The second period continued at a similar pace, with shots staying close as the 87’s posted 13 and the Bears countered with 16. The Bears made the most of their chances, capitalizing on the slight edge in opportunities. Garrett Carvounis opened the scoring, and Francesco Donohue followed a few minutes later, giving the Bears a 2–0 advantage heading into the final frame.
The third period stayed scoreless as both teams locked things down, and strong defense on each side kept the Bears’ 2–0 lead intact securing them the win. – MP
Valley Jr Warriors @ Express Hockey Club
Saturday afternoon’s matchup between the Valley Junior Warriors and the Express Hockey Club opened as a defensive battle despite the shot disparity. The Express controlled play early, outshooting Valley 17–5 in the first period, but the game remained scoreless after one thanks in large part to a standout performance from Valley goaltender Chris Hanifan, who turned aside several quality chances.
The deadlock was finally broken in the second period when Sean Anderson finished a give-and-go from behind the net, wrapping the puck around and slipping it past the goaltender to give the Express a 1–0 lead. Ville Bodin followed with an insurance marker, his 24th goal of the season, converting on a breakaway after Brody Hernandez sprung him with a long outlet pass from the defensive zone. Owen Larson extended the lead to 3–0 after gloving down a pass, splitting the defense, and lifting a glove-side finish. The Warriors responded late in the period as Greyson Petrush forced a turnover in the offensive zone and capitalized to make it 3–1 heading into the second intermission.
Carrying momentum into the final frame, the Express pulled away with three more goals. Bodin netted his second of the night on the power play, continuing his strong season as one of the EHL’s top five scorers. Larson added his second goal of the game, and Adrien Proulx capped off the scoring to secure a 6–1 victory for the Express. – MP

New Jersey 87’s @ Philadelphia Hockey Club
To wrap up today’s lineup of games, the 87’s faced off against the Philadelphia Hockey Club in the EHL’s Game of the Week. As the night wore on, the energy only picked up, with both teams bringing passionate, physical play to the ice. Late games tend to bring out extra grit, and this one was no exception.
The first period remained scoreless as both sides battled through strong defensive play and solid goaltending. It wasn’t until just under three minutes remaining in the period that the 87’s finally broke the ice, with Sean Elbrecht getting his team on the board to take a 1–0 lead.
The second period opened with the 87’s still holding the advantage, but PHC was hungry for a response—and they got one. Hudson Howard netted a goal to even things up, igniting momentum for PHC. However, the lead wouldn’t last long, as the teams traded chances throughout the period. Goals from PHC’s Justin Zapata and Brian Rhoads helped knot the score at 2–2 heading into the third.
With the third period winding down and neither team willing to back off, it came down to who would seize the moment. That moment belonged to PHC’s Ryan Suchy, who buried the game-winning goal to secure a hard-fought 3–2 victory over the 87s. – AM
Connecticut Nor’Easter @ HC Rhode Island
As the day wound down from a busy morning, the Nor’easter matched up with Rhode Island for an action-packed game. With both teams burying goals, flashing sharp power-play execution, and holding strong defensive walls, it quickly became a battle to the finish.
Nor’easter struck first in the opening period, with Johnny Blase putting his team on the board and giving them a 1–0 lead heading into the second.
The middle frame belonged to Rhode Island. They delivered multiple strong pushes, earning two goals while allowing just one against them. With tallies from Ruslan Weaver and Sam Lopes, RI evened things up at 2–2 heading into the third.
As the final period rolled on, Rhode Island found another gear. Ruslan Weaver netted the go-ahead goal—his second of the game—swinging the momentum fully their way. Jack Fraser sealed the deal with an insurance marker, locking in a 4–2 victory for Rhode Island over the Nor’Easter. – AM
Valley Jr Warriors @ Bridgewater Bandits
An intense battle unfolded between the Valley Jr. Warriors and the Bridgewater Bandits. The game opened with the Bandits’ Sam Neville striking first to get the scoring started. He was quickly answered by Lucas Lavassar of the Warriors, and the rest of the first period stayed quiet as both teams settled in and headed into the second.
The Warriors came out strong in the second, putting up two big goals from Joey Curtatone and Dylan Kullman to secure the lead. Andrew Hale added one for the Bandits to keep them in the fight, but the Warriors carried a 3–2 advantage into the third.
With final goals by Liam McGregor and Andrew Duval, the Warriors sailed to a win over the Bandits 5-2. – AM
Connecticut RoughRiders @ Providence Capitals
To keep the day rolling, the RoughRiders faced off against the Providence Capitals in an intense matchup. Both teams came in ready, and there was no telling how this one would unfold. Kirils Mihalkovs opened the scoring with his first of the game, setting the tone early. It didn’t take long for the RoughRiders to respond, as Harvey Wooldridge buried a power-play goal to even things up. With time winding down in the first, Armand Gill struck to give the Capitals a 2–1 lead heading into the second.
The second period kicked off with even more fire from the Capitals. Mihalkovs netted his second of the game to extend the lead, followed by goals from Maddox Watson, Andres Alves, and Vladimir Zakharov. The entire period belonged to the Capitals— and ultimately, so did the game.
The RoughRiders found one more answer in the third with a solid finish from Connor Hetherington, but it wasn’t enough to match the Caps’ momentum. Providence sealed the 9–3 win with a third-period tally from Gleb Gavrilovs, Josh Giguere, and Andres Alves. – AM
Philadelphia Little Flyers @ Pennsylvania Huntsmen
The rivalry between the Flyers and the Huntsmen was the perfect way to kick off this weekend’s games ahead of the Mid-Season Snowdown Showcase. After the Flyers snapped their losing streak with a win over the Huntsmen yesterday, both teams came in determined to make a statement. With each side standing their ground, the scoreboard stayed locked at 0–0 through the first and deep into the second.
It was Flyers forward Winfred Simpson who broke the silence, burying the first goal of the game and setting the tone for his team. The third period would determine how the Huntsmen would answer.
The opening minutes of the third turned into a quick exchange of goals, with Simpson netting his second of the game for the Flyers and Gabriel Laszewski responding for the Huntsmen. But the push wasn’t enough. Additional offense from Owen Ozer sealed the Flyers’ 3–1 victory and handed the Huntsmen another tough loss. – AM

Seahawks Hockey Club @ Express Hockey Club
The Express Hockey Club earned a tight 5–3 win over the Seahawks Hockey Club, driven by a two-goal night from Ville Bodin and a strong third-period push. The Express opened the scoring late in the first period when Bodin buried his 22nd of the season at 11:23, finishing a setup from Adrien Proulx. The Seahawks tied the game in the second on the power play, as Nicky Degeorge scored his 13th of the year off a feed from Gavin Torkoff. However, the Express restored their lead before the intermission. Bodin added his second of the night, converting a power-play opportunity assisted by Nate Brissette and Mark Trischler. The Express extended their advantage early in the third when Brody Hernandez scored, assisted by Warren Nguenti-Abssono, who later made it 4–1 with an unassisted tally at 16:36. The Seahawks mounted a late push, cutting the deficit on a power-play goal from Nolan Murphy, assisted by Aidan Neville and Brendan Agnew. Will Auger added another 90 seconds later off a feed from Jacob Roberts, bringing the Seahawks within one. Nevertheless, Brissette sealed the win for the Express with an empty-netter in the last minute, assisted by Sonny Arsenault. Lukas Toth backstopped the Express with a 36-save performance on 39 shots. Bodin led all scorers with two goals, and Nguenti-Abssono contributed a goal and an assist in the victory. – MF
Pennsylvania Huntsmen @ Philadelphia Little Flyers
The Philadelphia Little Flyers dominated from start to finish in a 6–1 victory over the Pennsylvania Huntsmen, fueled by a multi-goal effort from Colton Miller and strong special teams. Philadelphia struck early on the power play when Miller scored his first of the season at 3:04, set up by Matyas Bartonek and Tyler Ferguson. The Little Flyers doubled their lead midway through the frame as Ross Temple buried his eighth of the year off feeds from Anthony Ostrowski and Treavor Stanley. Miller added his second of the night at 19:05, converting a pass from Ben Jones and Luca Cesario to give Philadelphia a commanding 3–0 lead after one. The Little Flyers extended their advantage in the second period with another power-play tally. At 14:15, Colin Underwood netted his first of the season, assisted by Ostrowski and Chase Krtanjek, making it 4–0 heading into the final frame. Philadelphia continued to control the game in the third. Just 2:03 in, Tyler Ferguson intercepted a pass while shorthanded and scored unassisted to push the lead to five. Owen Ozer added another one at 8:16, finishing a setup from Michael Saglembeni and Bartonek. The Huntsmen broke the shutout less than a minute later, as Gabriel Lazewski scored with help from Thomas Hickey and Jacob Chow, but the damage was already done. Marty Pierce backstopped the Little Flyers with a sharp 29-save effort on 30 shots. Ostrowski led Philadelphia with two assists, while Miller paced the offense with a pair of goals in the win. – MF

Connecticut Nor’Easter @ New York Apple Core
The New York Apple Core skated off with a 3-2 victory over the Connecticut Nor’ Easter. The Nor ‘Easter tallied one early with a goal scored by Samuel Strand.
Breadon Gallante of the Apple Core and Gage Winter both scored power play goals in the second period, furthering their lead.
Breadon Gallante would then score his second to start the third period, the winning goal of the game. The Nor’ Easter would answer back with a goal scored by Samuel Strand, his second of the game. The Apple Core would end up on top, with a 3-2 win to end the game. – TP
HC Rhode Island @ Connecticut RoughRiders
The HC Rhode Island won a thrilling game over the Connecticut RoughRiders 3-1. The RoughRiders found the back of the net first on a power play with a goal scored by Lukas Samolia.
The HC Rhode Island answered back in the second period, scoring first thanks to Rusland Weaver, who scored on a power play. Ernests Muska would be the one to score the game winner for the HC Rhode Island, also on a power play.
The third goal was scored early in the third period by the HC Rhode Island’s Donovan Burke. The HC Rhode Island would hold the RoughRiders to one goal, ending the game victorious 3-1. – TP
Bridgewater Bandits @ Express Hockey Club
The Express HC won a high scoring game over the Bridgewater Bandits 6-3. The Express sounded off in the first period with Sam Steinman, Adrien Prolux and Philip Boncore all scoring back to back.
Ville Bodin would continue the scoring, creating the game winning goal toward the end of the second period.
The third period scoring started with a goal from Warren Nguenti of the Express followed by his team Sam Steinman, his second. The Bandits would enter the scoring in the third with a goal scored by Wyatt Fischer, followed by Brandon Borges, and Brennan Lopez. In the end, the Express HC maintained their lead, and defeated the Bandits 6-3. – TP
Seahawks Hockey Club @ Providence Capitals
The Providence Capitals defeated the Seahawks Hockey Club 4-2. The Capitals Vladimir Zakharov scored a beautifully maneuvered goal to open the period.
Maddox Watson would also fire one away for the Capitals in the second period. The Seahawks answered back shortly after with a goal scored by Nicky Degeorge.
Dylan Cawley of the Capitals scored the game winning goal in the third period to give the Capitals the lead. An empty net goal would then be scored by Maddox Watson, his second, for the Capitals. The Seahawks scored one more time before the end of the third period with a goal scored by Danny Kehoe. – TP

East Coast Wizards @ Express Hockey Club
The Express Hockey Club skated away with a 4-3 win over the East Coast Wizards. In the first period, Austin Luciani opened up the scoring for the Wizards at 11:23, and Adam Ellegood added a power play goal at 13:26 to make it 2-0. The Express responded in the second when Ville Bodin put them on the board at 3:04. But, Kye Smyrnios restored the Wizards’ two goal lead at 15:10. The Express came back late in the period with goals from Sonny Arsenault and Nate Brissette to tie the game. Brissette delivered again in the third and scored at 18:55 to give the Express the win. Pierson Haislet made 22 saves on 26 shots for the Wizards, while Lukas Toth had 42 saves on 45 shots for the Express. – AL
New Hampshire Avalanche @ Bridgewater Bandits
The New Hampshire Avalanche took a 4-2 win over the Bridgewater Bandits. Ben Carfora opened up the scoring at 1:29, and Danny Storella extended the lead 2-0 at 19:06. Ethan Audy made it 3-0 at 6:43 before Nathan Holland put the Bandits on the board at 18:08. In the third period, Colden Lawrence added a power play goal for the Avalanche at 4:33. Cody Tatar scored for the Bandits at 12:07, but the Avalanche held strong to secure the win. Nick Hussar stopped 12 of 14 shots for New Hampshire, while Nicolas Gould stopped 33 of 37 shots for Bridgewater. – AL
New York Apple Core @ Connecticut RoughRiders
The New York Apple Core had a strong offensive performance in an 11-3 win over the Connecticut RoughRiders. The Apple Core struck four times in the first period. Gage Winter opened up the scoring at 11:09, followed by Thomas Kubena at 12:40. Issac Walker extended the lead 3-0 at 16:27, and Alexandr Kolesnikov made it 4-0 at 19:41. The Apple Core kept their momentum into the second period. Joshua Travaglino scored at the five minute mark, before Declan Quinn put the RoughRiders on the board with a power play goal at 7:50. Matthew Kymer responded with a power play goal at 10:05, and Travaglino scored again at 16:15. In the third period, Harvey Wooldridge scored for Connecticut at 7:40, but Travaglino responded with two more goals to complete his four-goal game. Connor Hetherington added a RoughRiders goal at 15:20, but the Apple Core closed the game with late goals from Walker at 16:53 and Winter at 17:31. Brandon Smith had 35 saves on 38 shots for the Apple Core, and Caleb Whitson and Sebastianos Sakalis combined 53 saves on 64 shots. – AL

Providence Capitals @ Connecticut Nor’Easter
In the final game before the league heads into its Winter break, the Providence Capitals faced off against the Connecticut Nor’Easter. A quick opening goal from Domino Costa set the tone early, marking the beginning of the Capitals’ lead throughout the first period.
The Nor’Easter answered back with a goal of their own just two minutes into the second period, but the momentum remained with the Capitals. David Han responded with a goal that kept the Capitals rolling and restored their lead.
It was Domino Costa’s game from start to finish, as he notched his second goal of the night and added an assist, securing a two-goal advantage for his team. Mason Czaban capped off the scoring with an impressive power-play goal, sending the Capitols into the third period with a 4–1 lead.
With no goals scored in the final period, the Capitals closed out the game strong, earning a 4–1 victory over the Nor’Easter. – AM

The Express Hockey Club shutout the Connecticut Nor’Easter with an outstanding 6-0 score. The first period saw three goals, scored by: Nate Gravel, Kyle Daly, and Max Herbert each tallying one.
The second period followed with three more goals scored by: Aaron Karns, Kevin Waghorne, and Micheal Moscone all finding the back of the net.
No goals would be scored in the third period and the Express would outscore the Nor’ Easter 6-0. – TP

Pennsylvania Huntsmen @ Philadelphia Little Flyers
The Pennsylvannia Huntsmen came away with an overtime win against the Philadelphia Little Flyers by a score of 7-6. The Huntsmen scored first in the period with a goal from Raleigh Radkowski. Vladimir Hartman would sound off for Philadelphia and score a natural hat trick before the end of the first period.
The Huntsmen would tally one more in the second period to make it 2-3 with a goal scored by Karsten Blum on a power play.
Colten Miller of Philadelphia started off the period with a goal, and furthered their lead. Jack Bolcer scored another power play goal for the Huntsmen, as well as Karsten Blum scoring yet again on a power play, proving their system to be successful over Philadelphia. Bram Rohrbach, followed by Karsten Blum, his third, would be the one to tie this game and send it to overtime.
Karsten Blum, his fourth goal of the game, would be the one to make the Huntsmen victorious in overtime, with a fantastic goal to end the game. – TP
Union Jr Thunder @ Atlantic City Seals
The Atlantic City Seals beat the Union Jr. Thunder 5-2. Both teams held each other scoreless in the first period.
The Thunder would be the ones to score first in the second period with a goal scored by Radek Jenik. Andrei Radkevich of the Seals would score shortly after to even the game at 1-1. Rick Sandman, Bailey Burgeson, and Anthony Farrel, who scored two back-to-back goals, helped pull away with a lead for the Seals. Donovan Mosby would also answer back for the Thunder before the end of the period.
No goals would be scored in the third period, sealing the victory for Atlantic City. – TP
New Jersey 87’s @ New Jersey Bears
The New Jersey Bears defeated the New Jersey 87’s by a score of 6-3. The 87’s scored two goals in the first period with goals scored by Tomass Vekselis and Daniel Novoselov.
Dominic Moushon of the Bears sounded off in the second, scoring two back-to-back goals. The 87’s would answer back when Colin Grantham found the back of the net before the end of the period.
The Bears pulled away in the third period with Jett Wetherred scoring two goals, followed up by Brendan Crowley and Zachary Cheung. The Bears would outscore the 87’s 6-3 for the win. – TP
New Hampshire Avalanche @ Express Hockey Club
The Express Hockey Club won an exhilarating shootout over the New Hampshire Avalanche. The Avalanche would be the ones to score first with a goal scored by Sam Pies. Kyle Daly of the Express answered back at the end of the period to tie it 1-1.
The Express scored early in the second period with a goal scored by Jackson Guimond, but the Avalanche would not be far behind as Michael Cote would score soon after. The Avalanche took the lead for some time with a goal scored by Sam Pies, his second, and Ryan Dube to end the period.
The third period is where the Express would buckle down, and come back to score two back-to-back goals, by Sviat Antipkin and Matt Gonzalez, to send the game to a scoreless overtime, resulting in a shootout.
Both teams stayed steady in the shootout, with David Wood of the Avalanche and Jackson Guimond of the Express finding the back of the net for their teams. Sam Pies of the Avs and Matt Gonzalez of the Express would also score, keeping the shootout tied at 2-2. Both Chris Chesebro of the Avs and Kieran Humphreys of the Express stopped multiple shots, until Josh Livingston of the Express found success and sent his team to the 5-4 victory. – TP

Providence Capitals @ Connecticut Nor’Easter
As the Capitals took on the Nor’Easter, both teams came ready to make a statement. From the opening faceoff, each side showcased strong power play units and solid goaltending, setting the tone for a competitive matchup. Providence struck first, with Brody Bodenhagen opening the scoring and notching the first of his two goals on the night. The momentum continued for the Capitals as Seamus McParland-Daab found the back of the net, giving Providence a 2–0 lead heading into the second period.
The second period came and went with limited scoring as both defenses tightened up. Each team managed just one goal, with Bodenhagen recording his second of the game for the Capitals, while Evan Huyck responded for Nor’Easter to put them on the board for the first time. The score narrowed, setting the stage for a competitive third period.
In the final frame, the Capitals sealed the win as Domino Costa buried an empty net goal, locking in a 4–1 victory over the Nor’Easter. – AM

New Hampshire Avalanche @ Seahawks Hockey Club
The New Hampshire Avalanche defeated the Seahawks Hockey Club 4–1 on the road, powered by a balanced offensive effort and an amazing performance from goaltender Carson McGreevy. New Hampshire opened the scoring midway through the first period when Matthew Topham buried his eighth of the season off a setup from Evan Guerin and Ryan Dube. The Seahawks responded early in the second, as Carson Low tied the game with his 18th of the year, assisted by Orynn Freedman. However, the Avalanche regained momentum before the intermission. Jake Hutchins struck at 11:51, converting a feed from David Wood and Sam Pies to put New Hampshire ahead 2–1 heading into the third. The Avalanche took control in the final frame. On a power play at 3:03, Curtis Anderson buried home off crisp passing from Dube and Wood. Evan Guerin added insurance at 10:48, finishing a play initiated once again by Dube. Carson McGreevy was exceptional between the pipes, turning aside 36 of 37 shots to backstop New Hampshire to the win. Ryan Dube led all skaters with three assists, while David Wood contributed two helpers in the Avalanche victory. – MF

New England Wolves @ New Hampshire Avalanche
The New Hampshire Avalanche took a 3-1 win over the New England Wolves. The Wolves opened up the scoring in the first period when Emmett Hammond found the back of the net at 14:14. The Avalanche answered in the second period, when Jake Hutchins tied the game with a power play goal at 9:31. In the third period, David Wood gave the Avalanche the lead at 12:01, and then Dan Morrison added another one at 14:08 to make it 3-1. Nathan Metcalf stopped 35 of 38 shots for the Wolves, while Owen Holland stopped 42 of 43 shots for the Avalanche. – AL
Seahawks Hockey Club @ Providence Capitals
The Providence Capitals secured a 4-3 win over the Seahawks Hockey Club in a close matchup. Providence struck first in the opening period when AJ Bauchrowitz scored on the power play at 14:10. The Seahawks responded late in the period, when Ian Laib scored on a power play at 18:18 to tie it up. In the second period, David Han restored the Capitals’ lead with a goal at 12:50. Providence extended their lead early in the third when Mason Czaban made it 3-1 at 4:02. The Seahawks battled back when Cameron Morin scored at 10:43, followed by Aidan Weldon burying a power play goal at 11:38 to tie the game 3-3. Bauchrowitz netted his second goal of the night at 14:45 to secure the 4-3 win for Providence. Nick Kaufman made 45 saves on 49 shots for the Seahawks, while Ryder Ness made 51 saves on 54 shots for the Capitals. – AL
