Northeast Conference
Nathan Holland (F) Bridgewater Bandits
The EHL is pleased to announce Bridgewater Bandits forward Nathan Holland as a Northeast Conference Star of the Week. An ‘05 out of Dearborn, MI, Holland collected six assists across two high scoring games. After recording a pair against the Seahawks Hockey Club, Holland picked up an assist on all four goals in their 5-4 loss against the Providence Capitals. Holland, shared time at both the EHL and EHLP levels last season, will look to help the Bandits past the Avalanche on Tuesday.
Danny Storella (F) New Hampshire Avalanche
Danny Storella is now the all-time leading goal scorer in New Hampshire Avalanche history thanks to an impressive outing against the Valley Jr. Warriors. The ‘05 All-Star collected a hat trick and an assist to lead the Avalanche to a win. He recorded the game winner en route to 44 career goals for the number one spot in Avalanche history. They’ll take on the Bridgewater Bandits Tuesday.
Adam Quinn (F) Seahawks Hockey Club
It was not a chill week in terms of production for the man nicknamed “Freezer,” as Seahawks Hockey Club forward Adam Quinn collected five points. All of them came in their 8-4 win against the Bridgewater Bandits. Quinn secured the hat trick and added a pair of assists as well. One of those goals came shorthanded. The Seahawks will take on the Providence Capitals on Wednesday.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Hunter Lee (D) Philadelphia Hockey Club
Hunter Lee has become a welcome addition since returning to Philadelphia Hockey Club. This past week featured two wins against the Pennsylvania Huntsmen with Lee recording multipoint games in both of them. With five assists across the two victories, Lee assisted each game winner as well. They have a Friday night matchup against the New Jersey 87’s this week.
Scotty Moritz (D) Providence Capitals
All-Star defenseman Scotty Moritz is currently on a four game point streak, with three of those games taking place in the last week. Despite dropping two of those three, Moritz recorded five assists with at least a point in each game. In their lone win against the Bridgewater Bandits, Moritz tallied the primary assist as well. They’ll host the Seahawks Hockey Club on Tuesday.
Briggs Beam (F) Connecticut Nor’Easter
Briggs Beam willed the Connecticut Nor’Easter to a win over the Providence Capitals in their exciting matchup on Saturday. Beam recorded a pair of goals in regulation before scoring the overtime winner to secure two points for Connecticut. The ‘05 Syracuse, NY native now leads the Nor’Easter in goals as they take on the New York Apple Core this Wednesday.

Northeast Conference
Matt Gonzalez (F) Express Hockey Club
The pressure was on for the Express Hockey Club, taking on both the Seahawks Hockey Club and New Hampshire Avalanche, but forward Matt Gonzalez was ready for the challenge. In their 6-5 come from behind win over the Seahawks, Gonzalez tallied the overtime winner and added an assist as well. Despite dropping their second game, Gonzalez scored the lone goal for his squad. Gonzalez now has thirteen goals on the year.
Owen Holland (G) New Hampshire Avalanche
Goaltender Owen Holland was sensational in goal in the New Hampshire Avalanche’s 4-1 victory over the Express Hockey Club. Holland turned aside thirty shots in the process, including a number of opportunities during seven minutes of Express power play time. This took place in the third period where he stopped fifteen of sixteen. The Avalanche will square off against the New England Wolves this Tuesday.
Nick Needham (D) Express Hockey Club
Nick Needham also impressed for the Express Hockey Club in their pair of games over the weekend. The ‘07 out of Maine was instrumental in their comeback win over the Seahawks, tallying a goal and an assist in regulation before assisting the game winner in overtime. With an injured back-end, he logged big minutes in their loss against the Avalanche as well. They’ll have another crack at the Avalanche this Saturday.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Chad Niederman (F) Atlantic City Seals
The EHL is pleased to announce Atlantic City Seals forward Chad Niederman as a Mid-Atlantic Star of the Week. Across the span of three games, the ‘08 forward registered two points in each. He recorded a goal and assist in each of the first two before a two goal game to wrap up the week against the New Jersey 87’s. In total, he now boasts eight and fourteen assists on the year. They will host the Union Jr. Thunder on Saturday.
Adam Richard Míčka (F) Union Jr Thunder
The Union Jr. Thunder split their two games this past week, but Adam Richard Míčka was impressive in both. Despite a 5-4 loss against the New Jersey Bears, the Czech Republic native collected a goal and an assist, helping UJT secure a point. He followed that up with a pair of goals in their win over the Philadelphia Little Flyers. Two of his three goals came shorthanded. The Thunder will visit the Atlantic City Seals this Saturday.
Brendan Crowley (F) New Jersey Bears
The red-hot New Jersey Bears stayed in the win column this past week with big contributions coming from Brendan Crowley. He first had an assist in their comeback win against the Union Jr. Thunder, but it was their second game that he took off. Factoring in on four of NJB’s five goals, Crowley tallied two goals and two assists to take down the Pennsylvania Huntsmen. They square off against the New Jersey 87’s on Saturday.
