HAVERHILL, MA — The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Announce Week Nine Stars of the Week, running November 18th through November 25th.
EHL
Northeast Conference
Pierson Haislet (G) East Coast Wizards
The EHL is pleased to announce East Coast Wizards goaltender Pierson Haislet as a Northeast Conference Star of the Week. In seven days, the Wizards collected four wins with the ‘05 Illinois native in goal for two of them. In both games, he stopped 33 out of 34 against two North Division rivals in the Valley Jr. Warriors and the New England Wolves. Haislet now boasts a .927 save percentage as he and the Wizards await the Wolves yet again in their first game back from break.
Patrick Crawford (F) East Coast Wizards
The Wizards couldn’t have had that success without six points from returning forward Patrick Crawford. The Colorado native earned at least a point in all four games. In their two wins against the North Division leading New Hampshire Avalanche, Crawford tallied a goal and two assists. He wrapped up his pre-Thanksgiving hockey with two goals against the Valley Jr. Warriors and an assist against the New England Wolves. He now has eight goals and six assists on the year.
Lukas Toth (G) Express Hockey Club
The Express Hockey Club have now strung four wins together with three of them coming in the last week. ‘05 goaltender Lukas Toth has tended the net for each win. He began with a statement 28-save performance in an overtime win against the Seahawks Hockey Club. At the EHL Crossover Series, he helped the Express to a sweep, with a combined 77 saves. The Express will return to action against the Seahawks on Friday, December 5th.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Liam Kansler (F) Philadelphia Hockey Club
Philadelphia Hockey Club had a pair of high-octane wins against the Philadelphia Little Flyers, and Liam Kansler was a big piece of that. In the first, a game on the road, Kansler assisted both a power play goal and a shorthanded goal, one of which served as the game winner. He also added a goal of his own in the third. In their home win, Kansler had a four point outing which featured a pair of goals. When they return to action after break, they’ll have a pair of games against the Pennsylvania Huntsmen.
Anders Alves (F) Providence Capitals
It was a busy week for the Providence Capitals, but a successful one as well. The Caps went a perfect three for three with ‘05 forward Anders Alves recording six points over the course of the week. The returner first had an assist against the Connecticut RoughRiders. Alves then exploded for a three point game against the Bridgewater Bandits, factoring in on three of the first four goals of the game. He then had a pair of assists against the same squad in a comeback win. They’ll host the Connecticut Nor’Easter on December 4th.
Lukas Samoila (F) Connecticut RoughRiders
The Connecticut RoughRiders had a trio of games this past week and ventured past regulation in a pair of them. Returning blue-liner Lukas Samoila collected five points across the week. It began with a pair of assists against the Providence Capitals to force overtime before he scored two goals against the Pennsylvania Huntsmen. Both came on the power play, where he also added an assist. The New York Apple Core will be on the docket when they return on December 4th.

Northeast Conference
Antons Malinins (F) New England Wolves
The EHLP is pleased to announce New England Wolves forward Antons Malinins as a Northeast Conference Star of the Week. The ‘08 from Latvia collected three points in New England’s revenge win over the Express Hockey Club. Malinins assisted a pair of goals, including the game winner, before adding a crucial insurance goal early in the third period. When the Wolves return to action, it will be the New Hampshire Avalanche awaiting them on December 9th.
Aidan Castleton (F) New England Wolves
Malinins wasn’t the only Wolf who howled on Saturday night. Aidan Castleton kicked off the scoring for New England after forcing a turnover and tallied the game winning goal on the power play. Their captain led in the defensive zone as well, blocking some crucial shots as the Express attempted to mount a comeback. Castleton has now eclipsed his goal output from last year, bringing it up to seven for his final season.
Cameron Morin (F) Seahawks Hockey Club
Cameron Morin and the Seahawks Hockey Club were looking to go into break on a high note after an up-and-down couple of weeks. His two goal performance certainly helped as he scored a pair, back-to-back, as part of a second period surge for the Seahawks. The ‘07 now has seven goals on the year, and will look to expand on that when the Seahawks visit the Express Hockey Club after break.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Šimon Závorka (F) Union Jr Thunder
The league’s top scoring defenseman had a big weekend for the Union Jr. Thunder, stringing together six points in a span of two games. In a loss against the New Jersey Bears, Zavorka found the back of the net to drag Union within one. The ‘07 followed that up with a hat tricka against the Philadelphia Little Flyers, featuring the game winner. He also added two assists for good measure. Union will be out for revenge against the Bears when they return to action on December 6th.
Dominic Moushon (F) New Jersey Bears
Dominic Moushon continues to dominate as the EHLP’s leading scorer was all gas in New Jersey’s win over the Union Jr. Thunder. Out of the eight goals the Bears scored, Moushon factored in on six of them. He potted a trio of goals, one of which was the game winner, and a trio of assists. With that performance, he is the first forward to eclipse the 40-point plateau in the 2025-2026 season. Moushon and the Bears will square off against Union once again in their first game back from break.
Keith Bizjak-Lawrence (F) New Jersey 87’s
In a game that featured over 100 shots between the two teams, goaltending was going to be crucial. In the New Jersey 87’s 3-1 win over the Pennsylvania Huntsmen, goaltender Keith Bizjak-Lawrence was exactly that. He stopped 41 of 42 shots from the Huntsmen and helped successfully kill six Pennsylvania power plays. The 87’s will return to play against the Philadelphia Little Flyers on December 6th.
