vs Manhattanville College
The EHL All-Stars would take on the Manhattanville College Valiants in the final game of the EHL College Series. It was a tough 9-3 loss, but the All-Stars would continue to fight, allowing just three goals from the second period on and adding three of their own.
The game started off well, with the All-Stars going to the power play 1:09 into the period as Brandon Paluszak was called for roughing. The All-Stars would win the draw and get shots on Valiants net minder and EHL alum William Billequey, but soon after the Valiants would clear the puck down the ice with Ryan McKenna scooping up the puck off a pass gone wrong, scoring backhand on Luc Beauparlant (Philadelphia Hockey Club) 1:56 into the period.
Play would remain in the All-Stars zone, with Beauparlant making some tough saves, including a stop on a deflected shot just before the five-minute mark of the first period. Connecticut RoughRiders alum Lucas Baksay would get another deflection shortly after, putting the Valiants up 2-0 at the 5:32 mark.
Caden Eaton would follow when he took a quick backhand pass to the slot and tipped it in. Quickly after, the Valiants would add another as Johno Hoins took a pass from the side boards, quickly putting the Valiants up 3-0.
Ryan Kulak (HC Rhode Island) would go off for tripping at 6:47, but Manhattanville would come up empty on the power play.
With just over eight minutes to go in the period, Alex Roy (New England Wolves), off a keep-in by Luke Clarner, sent a one-timer to Gage Winter (New York Apple Core) for the first good chance for the All-Stars, but it was saved by Billequey. A few minutes later, Mitchell Watson would give the Valiants their fifth of the game off a tipped shot from the point.
The teams would trade chances, with Ben Cafora (New Hampshire Avalanche) dancing around the defense, taking a shot in tight but it was snagged by Billequey. Then EHL East Coast Wizards alum Corey Popowcer would have a great chance with 4:28 remaining in the period, but Beauparlant glove it for a whistle.
With three minutes to go in the period, the Valiants Brent LaGelco was called for slashing. The All-Stars would win the draw and show some good puck movement around the zone for much of the power play, but were unable to convert.
Just after the power play concluded, Brandon Paluszak would add another to the Valiants total. The All-Stars would come close to a response when Brady Hubbard (New Jersey Bears) one-timed a shot on goal from the middle of the ice with 30 seconds left in the period, but it was once again stopped by EHL alum William Billequey.
The second period would begin with Lukas Toth (Express Hockey Club) in goal, making an early save on a breakaway, and following that up with a handful of saves in the first two minutes.
At the 2:30 mark, Ryan O’Leary (New Hampshire Avalanche) would get an excellent opportunity off a rebound while falling past the crease, just missing the empty cage. Thirty-six seconds later, the Valiants Brandon Paluszak was called for hold, putting the All-Stars on the power play, however Danny Storella (New Hampsire Avalanche) would be whistled for interference, sending the game to four-on-four.
The parade to the penalty box would continue, as Austin Haldane (HC Rhode Island) would be sent off for holding, while the Valiants Mitchell Watson was sent off for roughing, both at the 5:24 mark. Just seconds later, the Valiants Ryan McKenna would take another penalty for holding. Through all the special teams, the All-Stars would have some looks but were unable to convert on the broken power play opportunities. Ville Bodin (Express Hockey Club) would head to the box for holding at 8:59, but the All-Stars would kill it off.
The teams would trade chances the rest of the period, with both teams coming close, but it was the Valiants with goals from Brett LoGelfo and Brandon Paluszak finding the net first in the second period.
Alex Haar (New Jersey 87’s) would finally breakthrough for the All-Stars off a pass from Cayden Miceli (East Coast Wizards) who slid the pass over for a nice move and backhand finish past the Valiants Tripp Clarke.
Manhattanville’s Paluszak would be called for slashing at 18:12, putting the All-Stars on the power play for the remainder of the period, where they would have a few good looks on net, but couldn’t find a way past the Valiants goaltender.
Two minutes into the third period, Ben Carfora took a stretch pass and broke in all alone, powering around the Valiants goaltender Dylan Gorman, but the puck was poked away. A minute later, Carfora was taken down while crossing the blue line, making the pass from his backside, but Troy Mulholland (New Jersey 87’s) was unable to control it. Frederic D’Amours would head off for the trip, but the All-Stars couldn’t get the puck past Gorman on the ensuing power play.
At 10:27 of the third, Jack Roberts would one-time a shot from Zach Choueiri past the EHL’s third period goaltender Tadeas Bezdek (Philadelphia Little Flyers) for the Valiants ninth goal. Thirty seconds later, Nicolas Rogers would be whistled for tripping, sending the All-Stars to the power play again, but they came up empty on the man advantage.
Just prior to the eleven minute mark, Luke Clarner (New Hampshire Avalanche) would again have a great keep-in at the line, taking the puck down the wall and throwing it to the crease for Danny Storella, who jammed away at it, but it was Ville Bodin who was able to pick up the puck in the scramble and put it past Gorman for the All-Stars second goal of the game.
Shortly after the goal, Tyler Rolston would keep the penalty parade alive, heading to the box, but the Valiants were able to kill off the man advantage.
With 1:13 remaining, Clarner would head to the box for interference, but Ville Bodin, with his second of the game, would score shorthanded off a snipe on the rush, giving the All-Stars their third and final goal of the game.

vs Albertus Magnus
The EHL Main All-Stars took to the ice against the Albertus Magnus Falcons at M&T Bank Arena, the home of the Quinnipiac University Bobcats. The All-Stars would fall by a score of 4-3 in what was a very evenly matched game.
The first period would get underway with the All-Stars ready to play, coming out with a shot first mentality, quickly take a 6-2 shot advantage over the Falcons. About a quarter of the way into the period, Alex Haar (New Jersey 87’s) jumped around a defender and backhanded the puck on net for an early opportunity. Danny Storella would then find himself on a two-on-one with New Hampshire Avalanche teammate Ben Carfora, but the pass was blocked by the Falcons defender. A minute later, the All-Stars would get another beauty of a two-on-one when Alex Roy (New England Wolves) set up Austin Haldane (HC Rhode Island), but were again robbed by Falcons goaltender Chace Hale.
Tadeas Bezdek (Philadelphia Little Flyers) in goal for the All-Stars, started to face a lot of shots as the Falcons started to get opportunities of their own, making a huge save at 9:18, swatting a backhand shot away from New England Wolves alum AJ Lackas.
With about nine minutes left in the first, Nick DiCioccio (East Coast Wizards) was sent off for tripping, sending the Falcons to the power play. New Hampshire Avalanche alum Kyle Dann found himself on the doorstep jamming away at the puck, but Bezdek held the line strong. He would continue to come up huge as the Falcons fired from all over the ice, helping to kill off the penalty.
Ville Bodin (Express Hockey Club) would have a nice chance following the Falcons power play, but put it just wide of the cage. The play would turn the other way forcing another save from Bezdek.
Albertus Magnus would start to turn it on, shutting down the EHL. The Falcons Jackson Martin would take a cross-checking with 3:38 left, giving the All-Stars the man-advantage. The All-Stars would have a great look a nice passing play by the All-Stars, but Evan Roy would be stopped by Hale.
Soon after, with just under one minute to go in the period, Caden Pattison would get Albertus on the board off a two-on-one from Justin Sullivan. Bezdek would be forced to make another save after a failed clearing attempt to keep the game 1-0 heading into the intermission.
The All-Stars would start the second period applying heavy offensive pressure, being rewarded with a goal from Danny Storella just a minute and a half into the second when he beat Falcons goaltender Chris Jackson off a face-off, evening the score at one. The All-Stars would continue to see some good opportunities following the goal, but all were gloved down by Jackson.
Ivan Kulagin (New Jersey 87s) would head to the box at 12:03 for high sticking, sending the Falcons to their second power play of the game. Quickly off the draw, the EHL cleared the puck the length of the ice and continued to shut down the Falcons power play until the All-Stars second period goaltender Lukas Toth (Express Hockey Club) absorbed a one-timer with 10 seconds remaining in the power play, keeping the game even.
The Falcons would continue the pressure after the power play, but Toth would continue to turn away their scoring chances. As the clock ticked down in the period, the physically ramped up, with the All-Stars throwing the body around every chance they got. The All-Stars would get a great look when Ben Carfora threw the puck cross ice to the crease looking for Ville Bodin (Express Hockey Club) but they just missed connecting, sending the play back the other way where Linas Dedinas would put a rebound back on net and in for a 2-1 Falcons lead with just under five minutes remaining in the period. The All-Stars would head to intermission trailing by one.
The Falcons would come out flying to begin the third period, firing shot after shot on Luc Beauparlant (Philadelphia Hockey Club) now in net for the All-Stars, with Sam Lozinksi sniping a shot home 1:57 into the period, extending the Falcons lead to two.
With just over 16:00 on the clock, the All-Stars would head to the box on a slashing call to Nick DiCioccio, but halfway into the penalty kill, the Falcons Eric Chamandy would go off for tripping, followed by William Lavigne for a cross-check. The ensuing five-on-three would result in Danny Storella’s second goal of the game off a one-timer from Ben Carfora.
With the power play continuing, Ivan Kulagin would one-time his own in from the right circle, off a pass from Vincent Cregheur (New England Wolves) tying the game at three.
The EHL’s Cayden Miceli (East Coast Wizards) was whistled for hooking with 9:51 to go in regulation, but the All-Stars were up to the task, killing off the Falcons’ man-advantage and keeping the game tied at three. However, with 4:09 left, Robert Barrasso would give the Falcons the lead as he tucked it past the EHL net minder off a pass from New Jersey 87’s alum Charles Lavoie.
Then, with 2:05 remaining, Beauparlant was called to the bench for the extra attacker. The All-Stars would throw everything on net, nearly tying the game, but couldn’t find the back of the net. With 9.7 seconds remaining, the Falcons Witt was sent off for a hit from behind, giving the All-Stars one last chance six-on-four. But the Falcons would win the ensuing face-off, and New Hampshire Avalanche alum Kyle Dann pinned the puck against the wall killing the clock and hanging on for a 4-3 win.
