WALPOLE, MA — The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Announce Showcase Stars for Week #2 Stars of the Week. These selections come from the Ice Breaker Showcase between October 2nd and October 5th.
EHL




Northeast Conference
Alex Roy (F) New England Wolves
The EHL is proud to announce Alex Roy as a Showcase Star for the Ice Breaker Showcase. Roy, an 05’ out of Quebec, is off to a dominant start for the Wolves. The third year forward boasted three consecutive multi-point games, including two three point games. In total, he had five goals and three assists, including a game winner. The Wolves take on H.C Rhode Island on Thursday.
Ville Bodin (F) Express Hockey Club
The prolific goalscorer out of Sweden makes his first appearance on the Stars of the Week. Bodin, a second year forward for the Express, has started his age-out campaign strong, and has only added to it with four goals and an assist at the opening showcase. He scored the overtime winner to lead the Express past the Apple Core as well. They take on the Bridgewater Bandits Friday.
Cory Alissi (F) New Hampshire Avalanche
The Avalanche swept their Showcase slate thanks in large part to Cory Alissi. The 05’ out of West Hartford, CT registered points in all three games, including the game winner against the RoughRiders. In sum, he collected two goals and three assists. The Avalanche host the East Coast Wizards on Thursday.
Garrett Bouschor (D) Seahawks Hockey Club
The Seahawks had a busy Showcase weekend, and three points from Garrett Bouschor helped make sure it was a successful one. After recording an assist to kick things off against the Philadelphia Little Flyers, he buried two goals in their comeback win against Apple Core. They square off against the Valley Jr. Warriors Friday morning.
Brody Andriole (D) New Hampshire Avalanche
With four assists in three showcase games, Brody Andriole earns Star of the Week honors. The second year defenseman is off to a strong start after having his rookie season cut short due to injury. The 05’ out of Branford, CT had a pair of assists against both the Capitals and the RoughRiders.
Logan Hunter (G) Bridgewater Bandits
The Bridgewater Bandits earned their first win of the 2025-2026 season thanks to a 20-save shutout from Logan Hunter. The 06’ out of Colorado has earned the bulk of stars for the Bandits thus far, and secured them their first win against the Little Flyers. Hunter also helped the Bandits secure a point, stopping 39 pucks in their shootout loss against the Bears. The Bandits will take on the Express Friday.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Alex Haar (F) New Jersey 87’s
The EHL is pleased to announce Alex Haar as a Showcase Star of the Week. The veteran forward has not gone a game without a point, and that trend continued at the Ice Breaker Showcase. With two goals and three assists in total, Haar helped the 87’s to both of their wins. They are back in action Wednesday against the Huntsmen.
Ernests Muska (F) HC Rhode Island
The 07’ out of Latvia marks the youngest player for the EHL Stars. Muska, a newcomer to HC Rhode Island scored a goal in each of their three showcase games, including the game winner in their matchup against the Wizards. Muska has scored in all but one game thus far. Rhode Island would travel up to Laconia to take on the Wolves this Thursday.
Denis Maliew (F) Philadelphia Hockey Club
Despite one of the toughest Showcase schedules, Denis Maliew continued to deliver for Philly H.C. With four points total, he shined brightest in their win over the then undefeated Seahawks where he potted a pair of goals. The 05’ out of Florida hopes for more of the same in Saturday night’s game against the RoughRiders.
Scotty Moritz (D) Providence Capitals
The Capitals secured four points during the Ice Breaker Showcase and 05’ Scotty Mortiz was a big part of that. With two points in each of their wins, Moritz was equally productive on both ends of the ice. In their final game against the Warriors, Moritz both scored a power play goal and assisted the game winner. They face the RoughRiders on Thursday.
Nicolas Malli (D) New Jersey Bears
The Bears were not in hibernation at the Ice Breaker, being one of three teams to secure a showcase sweep. The 06’ native of Austria had three points, including a goal and an assist in their dominant win of the Warriors. He tallied a crucial assist in their comeback victory against the Bandits as well. He and the Bears will take on the Little Flyers this Thursday.
Mitch Stenger (G) New Jersey 87’s
The 87’s won two of their three Showcase games, and in between the pipes for both of those wins was Mitch Stenger. After stopping 31 of 33 against H.C Rhode Island, he had a 19 save shutout against the Nor’Easter. Stenger is in his second year with the 87’s, and has a .970 through three starts.

Northeast Conference
Sviat Antipkin (F) Express Hockey Club
The EHL is pleased to announce Sviat Antipkin as a Showcase Star. The Express began their season at the Ice Breaker Showcase, and went a perfect 4-0. The 07’ native of Ukraine collected eight points over the four games, scoring a goal in three of four. They’ll take on the Capitals, whom they defeated at the Showcase, this Saturday.
Carson Low (F) Seahawks Hockey Club
The Seahawks went 3-0-1 at the Ice Breaker, and Carson Low’s fingerprints were all over their success. After a goal and assist to open against the Flyers, Low recorded a hat trick against the Huntsmen and another two point game against the Avalanche. The Seahawks are not in action until next Thursday, when they take on the Nor’Easter.
Dan Morrison (F) New Hampshire Avalanche
With at least a point in three of four games, Dan Morrison of the Avalanche earns a nod for Showcase Stars. In total, he registered six points, two of them goals. This included a game winner against the New Jersey Bears. They have an opening day rematch against the Wolves bright and early on Thursday.
Will Link (D) Express Hockey Club
Going 4-0, the Express had no weak links and a strong one on the backend. The veteran defenseman tallied five points in the four games, including a pair of goals. His goal against the Capitals came by way of power play.
Karel Maximilian Blaha (D) New England Wolves
The Wolves had a successful showcase, going 2-0-0-1, with defenseman Karel Maximillian Blaha collecting a pair of points in each of those wins. He scored both goals in their win against Union, closing out their slate on a high note. The Wolves will host the New Hampshire Avalanche Friday morning.
Carson McGreevy (G) New Hampshire Avalanche
With a pair of wins at the Ice Breaker Showcase, Carson McGreevy earns the honor for Star goalie. After stopping 25 of 27 against the New Jersey 87’s, he followed that up with a 19 of 20 against the New Jersey Bears. He boasts a .936 save percentage through those two games.
Mid-Atlantic Conference
Robert Tignini (F) New Jersey 87’s
The defending champs are off to a 2-2 start, with two of those wins coming at the Ice Breaker Showcase. Robert Tignini, an 07’ out of Howell, NJ, came up big in both of those wins. After a goal and an assist to open things up against the Providence Capitals, Tignini scored the game winner against the New England Wolves for their second showcase win. The 87’s are back in action this Saturday against the Huntsmen.
Rick Sandman (F) Atlantic City Seals
It was the debut Showcase for the Atlantic City Seals and Rick Sandman put on a show. His two goals included the overtime winner against the Connecticut Nor’Easter, securing them a win in their first Showcase game in franchise history. He had an assist as well in their loss against the Express. They host the Union Jr. Thunder on Sunday.
Dominic Moushon (F) New Jersey Bears
The 08’ returner out of Pittstown, NJ has picked up right where he left off for the New Jersey Bears. Dominic Moushon registered three goals at the Ice Breaker Showcase, a pair of them coming against the Express. This brought his total up to eleven points on the year, leading the EHLP. The Bears will look to return to their winning ways with a Friday night matchup against the Philadelphia Little Flyers.
Josh Vaughn (D) Pennsylvania Huntsmen
An 09’ out of Phoenixville, PA, Josh Vaughn earns Showcase Star honors. The defenseman tallied three assists over the Showcase weekend, a helper in each game. In Pennsylvania’s win over the Connecticut Nor’Easter, he assisted the game winning goal. The Huntsmen visit the New Jersey 87’s this Saturday.
Camden Slater (D) Connecticut Nor’Easter
The veteran defenseman is off to a solid start in his second season with the Nor’Easter. Slater, the native of Woodbridge, VA, tallied an assist in the Nor’Easter’s win over the New Jersey Bears, and scored a goal in their overtime loss against the Seals, helping them to three crucial points. They host the Express Hockey Club this Sunday.
Nathan Kelly (G) Union Jr. Thunder
Nathan Kelly is off to a strong start in his second season with the Thunder. He stopped all 33 shots that came his way in Union’s win against the Connecticut Nor’Easter, and added another 23 saves in their tight loss against the New England Wolves. Kelly has a .951 save percentage through three games thus far. The Thunder square off against the Bears on Saturday.
