Huntsmen All Star Forward to Join Owls this Fall
EXTON, PA – Xavier Tremblay, a forward for the Pennsylvania Huntsmen (PAH), has committed to Westfield State University for the 2025-2026 season.
Tremblay, an 04’ native out of Saine-Adéle, Quebec, played a pair of seasons in the EHL. Playing in 96 total games, all of them consecutively, Tremblay amassed 28 goals and 50 assists. He also represented the Huntsmen at the EHL All-Star College Series, defeating Elmira College with the Main All-Star Team.
“Congratulations to Xavier on his commitment to Westfield State,” said Eric Progen, former Head Coach of the Huntsmen. “I couldn’t be happier for Xavier as he has been an unbelievable young man to coach over the last two years. He has made an impact in every situation of the game and is one of the most complete players I’ve had the pleasure of coaching. Xavier has a great passion for the game and work ethic to improve and contribute for his teams. He has grown into a fine leader and will bring that element to Westfield State. The Owls are getting a great player and an even better young man.”
Tremblay is the second member of the Huntsmen to join the Owls for their upcoming season, alongside Damon Warren.
“Back to August 2023, I completely stepped out of my comfort zone,” Tremblay said. “I flew out to play for Team Maryland not knowing what to expect. Now, two years later, I’ve become a whole new and better version of myself. I want to thank Coach Eric Progen for guiding me through the years in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. I’d also like to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for the incredible support from my billet families: Kelly and Craig, and Jenn, Nick, and London. You all made me feel welcome and helped me more than you could ever imagine. It’s now time for the next chapter. I’ll be heading to Massachusetts to play at the college level, and I couldn’t be more excited to join the Owls this upcoming season.”
