Capitals Forward to Join Bears in Fall
NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI – Landon Cole, a forward for the Providence Capitals, has committed to SUNY Potsdam for the 2025-26 season.
A native of Raleigh, NC, the 04’ played for two seasons in the EHL, first suiting up for the Pennsylvania Huntsmen. This year, he reached a career high in points, registering six goals and twelve assists in 30 games. Cole also added five points in the Capitals’ lengthy postseason run,
“Potsdam is getting one of the most solid IQ/200-foot players from this year’s team,” Providence Head Coach Jeff Perreualt said. “Landon just got better and better as his confidence grew through the end of the year, and he was fantastic down the stretch. You can put Landon in any situation on the ice and he knows exactly what to do. Good luck at college kid!”
Potsdam competes in the SUNYAC (State University of New York Athletic Conference), and are led by Head Coach Chris Bernard.
“I am extremely grateful for the Providence Capitals organization as well as my loved ones for giving me the opportunity to further my academic and athletic career,” said Cole.
