All-Star Capitals Forward to Join Beacons in Fall
NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI – Deaglan Kelly, a forward for the Providence Capitals, has committed to UMass Boston for the 2025-26 season.
An 04’ out of Franklinville, NJ, Kelly spent three years in the EHL, playing a total of 117 games. During that time, he amassed 125 points with a high of 68 this past year, good for fourth in the entire league. Kelly also represented the Capitals at the EHL All-Star College Series, where he was amongst the best performers.
“This is a special one for me,” said Capitals Head Coach Jeff Perreault. “Mr. Kelly has been loyal to myself and this process for the last three years. The steps Deaglan has taken to get to this level is immeasurable. UMass Boston is getting a gamer who absolutely loves to win and score big goals. I’m so excited to watch him play at UMass Boston! Kelly is the second player from this year’s class to join the Beacons, alongside fellow All-Star Alex Koenig (EHC).
