Capitals Forward to Join Raiders in Fall of 2025
North Smithfield, RI – Brayden Deschamps, a forward for the Providence Capitals, has committed to Rivier University for the 2025-2026 season.
An 04’ out of Burrillville, RI, Deschamps is a two year product of the EHL. After a nine point rookie season, Deschamps leaped in production for his sophomore campaign. His 15 goals and 16 assists established him as a reliable producer throughout Providence’s impressive season.
“Rivier is getting a fun, emotional player that wears his heart on his chest and loves to score goals,” Capitals Head Coach Jeff Perreault. “Brayden is the ultimate competitor and fierce competitor. I can’t wait to watch the three Providence Capitals continue skating with each other. Congrats kid.”
Alongside Mason Rudrud and Josh Coderre, an entire forward line from the Capitals will all be Raiders come the Fall of 2025.
“I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to Rivier University,” Deschamps said. “I am grateful to continue my academic and athletic career and would like to thank my family, teammates, and coaches who have helped make this possible.”
