87’s Forward to Join Rams in Fall
Wall Township, NJ – Connor McLachlan, forward for the New Jersey 87’s (NJS), has committed to Framingham State University for the 2025-26 season.
McLachlan, an 04’ out of Plymouth, MA, spent one season in the EHL and it was a productive one. Tallying six goals and 12 assists in 40 games, McLachlan was a reliable contributor for New Jersey.
“Connor was unbelievable for us all year,” 87s Head Coach Adam Houli said. “He truly identified his role with our team and pushed others to focus on the same. He was a hard worker with a strong IQ and I can’t wait to see him flourish in the next four years. I am beyond excited that someone like Connor found a great spot.”
McLachlan is one of many players from this year’s class to join the Rams. Aidan Elbrecht, teammate from this past season with New Jersey, will be a familiar face on campus and at the rink. The Rams are led by Head Coach Mike Bailey.
“I am so thrilled to attend FSU,” McLachlan said. “I can’t wait to get started and I am excited to play for Coach Bailey and look forward to the next four years. I am so thankful for the 87’s and what they were able to do for me. I am so grateful and excited.”
