Jr Eagles Defenseman to Join Rams in Fall
Wellesley, MA – Cullen Lacey, a defenseman for the Boston Jr Eagles (BJE), has committed to Framingham State University for the 2025-2026 season.
The 05’ native of Charlestown, MA joined the Eagles for their inaugural campaign in the EHL. The blueliner has tallied three goals and five assists in 40 games played, and registered a four-game point streak earlier in the season.
“First off, Cullen is an unbelievable person,” Eagles head coach Ian Moran said. “He comes to the rink every day with a great attitude, works incredibly hard on the ice and in the weight room, and is the type of teammate every player wants to have sitting next to them in the locker room. He has been a pleasure to have as a part of the Eagles organization.”
Lacey becomes the third EHL commitment to the Rams, joining Aidan Elbrecht (NJS), Grig Kaagan (BWB), as well as a number of alumni. The Rams are led by head coach Mike Bailey.
“Being on the Eagles this year has been everything I wanted from junior hockey,” Lacey said. “I couldn’t ask for a better season, playing with a great group of guys and learning from Ian. He’s one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. I’m pumped about Framingham as playing college hockey was always the goal and I finally get to make it happen.”
