Rangers Forward Set to Join Lancers in the Fall of 2017

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Brendan Boyle, a forward for the Boston Jr. Rangers, has committed to Worcester State University for the Fall of 2017. Boyle just finished his first season with the Rangers' Premier team, and his third year with the organization.

"Brendan has been a part of our program for the last 3 seasons and has really developed into a college hockey player," said Rangers Premier head coach Rich DeCaprio. "He's big, strong, and fast and likes to play physical. We wish him the best at WSU!"

Boyle was one of many key parts in the Rangers success this season, as they entered the postseason as the #3 seed in the North Conference. The '96 forward helped his team put together a solid run to the Quarterfinals and now is looking forward to kicking off his collegiate hockey career this Fall.

"Being part of the Rangers organization has formed me into the player I am today and I can't thank the coaches and my teammates enough for helping me reach my goal of playing college hockey," said Boyle. "The group of guys we had this year was a special one and I'm honored to have been apart of it."
