Rangers Goalie Joining Golden Flyers in the Fall of 2017

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Sean Kuhn, a goalie for the Boston Jr. Rangers, has committed to Nazareth College for the Fall of 2017. Kuhn is in his second season with the Rangers' Premier Team, and has won 23 games during his time with the organization.

"Last year Kuhn began the season as our backup goalie," said Rangers Premier head coach Rich DeCaprio. "He took over the starting position for us mid-season due to his hard work and development. He picked up right where he left off this season and has helped us win a lot of games. He will have a great college career!"

The '96 netminder from Glens Falls, New York has made significant improvement during his time in the EHL, lowering his GAA to 2.25 this season. Add in Kuhn's .921 save percentage and he's definitely made his impact felt on this year's Rangers squad.

"These last two years with the Rangers have been a pleasure from start to finish. Being here helped me pursue my dream of playing NCAA hockey," said Kuhn.

Kuhn and the Rangers kick-off their Quarterfinals series against the New Jersey Rockets tonight at 7:50pm.
