Oilers Forward Set to Join Thoroughbreds in the Fall of 2017

NORWALK, CT -- Matthew Muzyka, a forward for the Connecticut Oilers, has committed to Skidmore College for the Fall of 2017. In his first season with the Oilers, Muzyka tallied an even 37 points in 37 total games.

“Matthew was a fixture for us this season with his size and speed," said Oilers head coach Eric Lind. "He has a super shot release and is extremely effective in all three zones and in all types of situational play.”

While the Oilers season ended sooner than they had hoped, Muzyka is excited about his future at Skidmore. The '96 forward is the 3rd EHL player to commit to Skidmore for next season, joining a pair of Walpole Express teammates in Brian Kowalski and Kayser Raei.
