Future Wolfpack Defenseman Set to Join the Camels in the Fall of 2017

CROMWELL, CT -- Trent Thomas, a defenseman for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, has committed to Connecticut College for the Fall of 2017. With only 3 eligible returning defenseman, the Wolfpack made a strong push to land Thomas, a Hill school graduate who had already set his college destination. Thomas will play his gap year for the Wolfpack and prepare for his freshman season not only on ice, but off the ice as well.

"We are happy to have Trent, not only does he make us better, I think we will do a great job preparing him for the next level," said Wolfpack head coach Chris Cerrella. "Our players have been known to go to the college hockey ranks and play as freshman and make an impact. We are looking forward to Trent patrolling our blue line, and from what we have seen so far, he is going to be a heck of a college hockey player."
