Jr. Flyers Defenseman Becomes 6th Team Commit of the Season

WEST CHESTER, PA -- Jace Burton, a defenseman for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers, has committed to Neumann University for the Fall of 2016. Burton had six points in 27 games for the Jr. Flyers this past season.

“He is a coach’s delight on and off ice," said Jr. Flyers head coach Jerry Domish. "He’s extremely dedicated to his game, and always the first guy in the rink and last out. I wish all players had his work ethic, and passion. He will bring hard work and be a leader by example as his work ethic becomes contagious to those around him. As a player he will fill any role he is asked to and always with his best. He is a great team player and never puts himself first. As an example, he has played forward and defense while playing for us and has always been willing to sacrifice individual stats for the team."
