ASTON, PA -- JC Moritz, a defenseman for the Philadelphia Little Flyers, has committed to Neumann University for the Fall of 2016. Moritz was a late season addition for the Little Flyers, and while he did not score during 11 games in Philly, his presence on the blue line helped the regular season champions reach the EHL Finals. Moritz won't have to travel far for college hockey as the Neumann Knights also play their home games at the Ice Works Skating Complex in Aston.

“JC was a great veteran presence for our club this season,” said Little Flyers head coach Rocky Russo. “Adding a local player with junior experience to our young club was very important to our success. JC is a smart steady defenseman that makes good decisions with the puck and plays a tough physical game."
