WALPOLE, MA -- Tim Thurnau, a forward for the Walpole Express, has committed to Elmira College for the Fall of 2016. Thurnau racked up 30 points in 45 games, while helping to lead the Express to the Premier Division Semi-Finals.

"Timmy came to us from the Tier 1 Columbus Blue Jackets and was a big piece of our success here in Walpole,” said Express head coach Jon Lounsbury. “He made an impact from day one. Timmy has been one of the most consistent players I have ever coached. Each practice and game I knew exactly what he was going to bring and his impressive numbers are a product of his work ethic. He will be missed in Walpole next season."
