Jr. Flyers Leading Scorer Set to Join Falcons in the Fall of 2016

WEST CHESTER, PA -- Joshua Larson, a forward for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers, has committed to Fitchburg State for the Fall of 2016. Larson led the EHL with 29 goals during the regular season, and followed things up with one point per game in the Jr. Flyers playoff series against the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack. Larson is one of eight EHL players that have made their commitments to Fitchburg State this season.

“I think his game has improved a lot since he's been here, even though he had some injuries the first year," said Jr. Flyers head coach Jerry Domish. "Last year he struggled a little bit defensively and it curtailed his offensive capabilities. This year he put it all together, his defense was much better and it led to him getting much more offensive opportunities and he did really well. I think he’ll do very well at the college level. He’s a big kid and drives the net hard.”
