Express Goaltender Set to Join Gulls in the Fall of 2016

WALPOLE, MA -- Connor Rodericks, a goalie for the Walpole Express, has committed to Endicott College for the Fall of 2016. Rodericks was a key factor in the Express reaching the Premier Semi-Finals, as the Massachusetts native won all four of his starts in the first and second rounds, while only giving up one goal each game. Rodericks was named the TSR Hockey Top Performer for each series, and also earned two Star of the Week honors during the regular season (February 3rd through 7th and October 16th through 18th). A combined record of 22-17-1 to go along with a 2.33 GAA, makes Rodericks a great pick-up for Endicott College.

“Connor came to us last year from the Portsmouth Abbey School and was able to put up monster numbers in his first season with the Express," said Express head coach John Lounsbury. "Connor returned this year ready to take the lead and has once again proved to be one of the best goalies in the league. Not only is Connor a great goaltender, off the ice he is one of the best kids I have ever coached. He is going to be incredibly difficult to replace."

When choosing a college Connor visited both Division I and III schools, finding the perfect fit with Endicott College. “I am very excited to further my education and hockey career at Endicott College,” Rodericks said. “I would like to thank my family and everyone who has helped me along the way. I especially want to thank the Walpole Express for their support over the past two seasons, without them this opportunity would not have been possible."
