Premier Division MVP Set to Join Black Bears in the Fall of 2017

BRIDGEWATER, MA -- Eduards Tralmaks, a forward for the Boston Bandits, has committed to the University of Maine for the Fall of 2017. The '97 native of Riga, Latvia was the 2015-16 EHL Premier Division's Most Valuable Player and Forward of the Year, and was also named a 1st Team All-Star.

In 40 games with the Bandits, Tralmaks had 28 goals and 27 assists, good for a 55-point season (ranked 5th in league scoring). Tralmaks led the way with 8 game-winning goals, and proved to be one of the best go-to scorers in the Eastern Hockey League.

"We could not be more proud of Eduards and his accomplishments," said Boston Bandits head coach Todd Stirling. "In each of the three years he has been a member of the Bandits organization, Eduards has made significant contributions to each of the teams. He is a highly skilled player that works on his craft on a daily basis and has a nose for the net. We look forward to watching him play in Hockey East."
