Oilers All-Star Set to Join Cardinals in the Fall of 2016

Walker Harris, a forward for the Connecticut Oilers, has committed to Wesleyan University for the Fall of 2016. After tallying 54 points during the regular season, Harris was named an EHL Second Team All-Star, along with his teammate Alexander Wilkinson. Marc Happy made the First Team, as the Oilers finished with the most All-Stars in the EHL.

Harris' 54 points during the regular season, put him in a tie for 6th in league in scoring. The native of Colorado kept things rolling with 10 points in the Oilers' 6 playoff games.

This was Harris' first season in the EHL, following a year with the Colorado RoughRiders (WSHL). Harris finished as the leading scorer in Colorado, just like he did this year in Connecticut. The Oilers and the RoughRiders are affiliates of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, members of the United States Hockey League (USHL) since 1999.
