Wolves Forward Set to Join Penmen in the Fall of 2016

Joe Flanagan, a forward for the New England Wolves, has committed to Southern New Hampshire Univeristy for the Fall of 2016. Flannagan had 15 points in 40 regular season games for the Wolves this season, and he also picked up an assist during their first round matchup against the Bandits. Joe will join his teammate Kurt Gutting, who is also heading to SNHU next fall.

“Joe is a balanced player with outstanding hockey sense in all 3 zones," said Wolves head coach Steve Jacobs. “He has excellent size and strength and he does all the little things well. His determination, puck-handling skills, scorers mentality and instinctiveness make him dangerous around the net. We have relied on Joe on all our big defensive zone face-offs, and as a shut-down center who has earned trust from the coaching staff as a high quality, character kid."
