Lumberjacks Forward Headed to New York in the Fall of 2016

Patrick Farnan, a forward for the Vermont Lumberjacks, has committed to SUNY Canton for the Fall of 2016. Farnan is playing in his 2nd season in the Eastern Hockey League, after spending last year with the Northern Cyclones. In 33 games for the Lumberjacks, Farnan has 9 goals and 4 assists, and is playing well of late, with points in 3 of his last 4 games.

“Patrick is a great young adult and our organization is proud to be associated with his development and growth, " said Lumberjacks head coach Doc DelCastillo. "Patrick has tremendous character and work ethic. Since his arrival, Patrick gave our team a leader both on and off the ice. He’s been asked to play in all situations and has not disappointed. Patrick was a warrior for our team this year and will do anything for our team to win a hockey game."
