Lumberjacks Defenseman Becomes First Team Commit of the Season

Axel Hallin, an assistant captain for the Vermont Lumberjacks, has committed to Gustavus Adolphus College for the Fall of 2016. The 5’9”, 180-pound blueliner has 4 goals and 14 assists (18 points) through 37 games of the 2015-16 season.

“The Lumberjacks organization is very proud of Axel.  The past year Axel has given our team an offensive and defensive presence on our blue line.  Axel is such a great person and has showed leadership since day one upon his arrival to Burlington.  We are proud to be associated with such a student-athlete.  Axel exemplifies a team guy and his teammates absolutely love him.  We are extremely pleased to be associated with Axel and his development," said Vermont Lumberjacks head coach Doc DelCastillo.
