Jarrod Fitzpatrick, the captain of the Northern Cyclones, has committed to Utica College for the Fall of 2016. Fitzpatrick has tallied 39 points this season, while playing in 29 of 30 games for the Cyclones. Fitzpatrick will feel comfortable right when he arrives at Utica, as three of the Pioneers are Cyclones alums. Kevin Valenti and Dalton Carter are each in their sophomore years at Utica, while LJ Fellows is a freshman.

Fitzpatrick is excited about his future at the college hockey level.

“I would like to thank all of the Cyclones staff and organization for getting me the opportunity to play hockey at Utica College. I’d like to also thank Coach Bill (Flanagan) for teaching me about the game of hockey, life, and the future. Last but not least I would like to thank my mom and dad for helping me be the person I am today and getting me to where I am going,” said Fitzpatrick.
