Tasca Commits to Stevenson University

Second Year Defenseman Becomes 5th Revolution Commit of 2015-16

Nick Tasca, a defenseman for the Philadelphia Revolution, has committed to Stevenson University for the Fall of 2016.

Tasca is a native of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. The 6'1", 180-pound defenseman, is currently in his second season within the organization. Prior to this season, Tasca played on the Revolution U19 Elite program. Premier head coach Keith Primeau was the assistant coach of the U19 Elite team last year and Tasca followed Primeau to the Jr. A ranks for the 2015-'16 campaign. The smooth-skating defenseman has played in 23 games and has contributed with give assists – three of the assists coming on the power play.


The Stevenson University Mustangs hockey program will embark on their inaugural season as the newest member of the NCAA Division III – ECAC West Conference. Former Neumann University head coach Dominick Dawes has been named the head coach of the Mustangs men’s hockey program. Dawes compiled a record of 107-62-25 during his time as head coach of Neumann University, making him the winningest coach in the program’s history. His team also won the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2009. Coach Dawes looks to bring his winning ways to a program he is building from scratch, and hopes to build a strong foundation with the likes of recruits such as Nick Tasca.
