Little Flyers Captain Set to Join Pointers in the Fall of 2016

Austin Kelly, the captain for the Philadelphia Little Flyers, has committed to Wisconsin Stevens-Point for the Fall of 2016. Kelly has 46 points so far this season, which puts him one point behind the league's leading scorers, his teammate Pavel Mikhasenok and Donny Flynn of the New Jersey Rockets. Kelly and the Little Flyers are rolling right now, as they've won 7 in a row, 15 of their last 16, and face-off against the Philadelphia Revolution tonight at 7:15pm.

Little Flyers head coach Rocky Russo offered some praise for his leader.

"Austin is an excellent player, but an even better person,” said Russo. “He has an outstanding work ethic both on and off the ice that will translate to being an asset to Coach Brooks and the UWSP program and the University.”
