Samuel Topham, a defenseman for the Walpole Express, has committed to Bowdoin College for the Fall of 2016. Topham has played in 24 of the 28 games for the Express this season, helping lead the team to its 14-8-6 record. The native of Marshfield, MA has 4 goals and 8 assists, with 7 of those points coming on the power-play.

“Sam came to us this season after doing a post-graduate year at the Berkshire School,” explained Express Head Coach Jon Lounsbury. “He has been a welcome addition to our line up. Sam has a high compete level and the ability to be a game changer. There is no doubt in my mind that Sam will be an impact player at the college level."
