Wolves Goalie Staying in the Granite State

Kurt Gutting, a goalie for the New England Wolves, has committed to stay in the Granite State and will play for Southern New Hampshire Univeristy, starting in the Fall of 2016. Gutting is the starting netminder for the Wolves, and has compiled a 6-10-0 record so far this season. The native of Weymouth, MA, is in his 2nd season in the Eastern Hockey League.

“Kurt is a competitive battler with great anticipation who is constantly trying to improve.  He is very patient and doesn’t waste a lot of movement. He came back this year brimming with confidence after a strong summer working with our goalie coaches Brian Daccord and Dave Shultz, and he has played strong all year”, states Coach Steve Jacobs.  “He is a great teammate who the guys are confident in and want to play hard for”.
